Egregiously over priced dog food is bought there before. When I left store and looked up pricing at other store they're charging $20 more per bag. I called and said I'd like to return immediately sales clerk was rude. Said all sales final and hung up on me. Terrible customer service and gouging prices. I'll never go back and you should consider going to a different store.

I recently visited Critter Fritters and was blown away by their excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Tony, in particular, was incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions and providing me with the right product for my mother's dog as I am not a pet owner myself.What really impressed me was their stock of motion sickness medication. My mom's dog has a history of getting sick during car rides, and it's always been a struggle to find the right solution so that Mollie can visit my daughters. Critter Fritters had just what I needed, and it worked like a charm!Overall, I highly recommend Critter Fritters to any pet owner looking for quality products and friendly service. Thank you, Tony and the rest of the team four paws and 2 thumbs up!

Similar to the other one star reviews (I'd give it none if I could), I had a horrid experience here. I went in and picked up a bag of my cat's litter and a bunch of it spilled out as there were two holes in the back of the bag. I told the salesperson and asked if there were other bags and he said no. I asked if I could have a discount and he said I caused the holes (impossible and untrue) and took the bag and refused to sell it to me. I said I would pay full price; my cat needs the litter. He refused. Repeatedly. He said I was rude which is laughable as I was being very nice. But somehow just the fact that I requested a discount made him lie and say I caused the holes, refuse to sell to me and call me rude. It honestly me made me sad for whatever he must be going through to be that awful to me.Despite the convenience and that it's hard to find my cat's litter I won't be going there again; unless they get a new salesperson. Is he the owner? Does anyone know?

Absolutely love this local pet store, which carry an array of wonderful treats, foods, toys and apparel (twin coats) for the pooch (and other animals too) I love the grooming service, offered by Pam, who is A+++ at giving my pooch love, care and attention during grooming sessions. The staff are always amazing and ready to answer questions and provide advice.

I popped by to buy some pill pockets for a cat I'm catsitting for just around the corner. A woman in the back with a black Frenchie named Night (or Knight?) who was restocking had excellent customer service skills: greeted me, asked if I needed help with anything, offered to bring stuff up to the front while I shopped more, etc. Honestly, I would have been fine with someone less initiating since my goal was to get in and get out. I went in around 11am on Wednesday so maybe that's when the very nice associate works! There was a gruffer staff member who was more curt and did not greet me, but again, I wasn't offended. They helped the cheerier associate find the pill pockets for me. I thought they had a fairly impressive selection and good balance between cats, dogs, and small mammals supplies. I'm not sure if their prices were exorbitant compared to Petsmart, Chewy, etc. Then again, it's Glen Park and a small business.

Clerk didn't even look up, let alone greet me, when I entered. I tried to get their attention to find something, but they were listening to the radio very loudly. It's not worth visiting here unless you have no other options as a resident.

This is the best pet store in San Francisco. The staff are excellent and really know their stuff. Always have a wide variety of things especially around Christmas. I have a pitbull and its hard to find toys that can withstand his chewing and they have such a good selection for him. Clothes too. They also have marrow bones which kerp him busy for a reasonable price. I truly do not understand the negative reviews I always love going to shop there except spending too much because they have such great stuff. If you have a pet check this store out you will not be disappointed.

Please do not come to this petstore. I read the reviews before coming and i thought, theres no way theyre that rude.. but they are!. When we walked in no welcome or anything we just got stared at by the person watching the tv. We took a while in the cat section because we didnt know what to get, the person working there then acted like they were fixing the kibble but in reality they just wanted to know if we were stealing. When checking out they didnt even say how are you, just started scanning items. good thing i asked if they do returns (which they dont) so we just left.
