Beautiful hotel in the perfect location to explore all of San Francisco. The rooms are clean and modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful in every situation. There is a nice breakfast room with reasonably priced dishes and coffee.Parking is quite pricy like everywhere in this region.Special thanks to Manager Rodriguez for professionally solving issues!Rooms: Beatiful, clean and modern rooms.Nearby activities: Many sights closeby.Walkability: All the piers and access to the cable car system closeby.Food & drinks: Nice Breakfast room with reasonable prices.

We had a great time in SF, in part because the hotel's location was superb for a very reasonable price.Nearby activities: Pretty much everything is nearby: the wharfs, restaurants, cable car starting points, MUNI buses etc. We came & left by Amtrak using the Amtrak Thruway bus connection from Emeryville. We strongly recommend NOT staying in Emeryville as it's too inconvenient to get back & forth daily to SF sights!Walkability: Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy. Take the nearby Cable Cars up to the Car museum, Chinatown, Lombard St. etc

The hotel is highly recommended. Admittedly, the view from the room of a parking garage wasn't that nice, but the location of the hotel is simply great. A 10-minute walk to Pier 39 and a cable car stop is not far.The rooms are large and clean and the staff is always helpful.Walkability: Fishermans Warf, Pier 39, Cruise Ship Terminal, Cable Car stop

The room was clean and very spacious. I could see the bay from my window. Everyone at the front desk was friendly. It's a close walk to some restaurants and public transportation. A cable car is just around the corner, and the street cars are about a 5 min walk.Valet was pricey but it was convenient. One evening, there was an an influx of cars at the valet so the wait time was longer than the estimated 20 min. I went up to the valet and they were able to get my car in another 10 min. The attendant was kind and apologetic. He warned us to not keep anything in the car due to break ins around the city. 10/10 experience overallWalkability: Fairly easy walk to shops, restaurants, and different piers

Excellent place, near all attractions in the area. Rooms are bigger than the pictures, not so many homeless, parking is expensive but what you going to do in a big city like SFRooms: Rooms are surprisingly bigger than I anticipated from the pictures, can’t complaint there, specially traveling with kids, Comfy bedsNearby activities: Close to pier39, Ghirardelli square, buena vista cafe and many options to ride cable car or muni bussesPlenty of options for food

Over all the stay was good, not amazing. Here and there was trouble and issues, that the staff tried to fix their best: f.e.:The valet parking can not be called from an international phone number, so we always calld front desk for it. Once it took 45 min to get out car. And for this service we paid 75 dollars (incl tax). That was very disappointing. Also they didnt clean our room, as we went to front desk and ask on the third day why nobody is cleaning, they said they thought we didnt want cleaning. We were never ask though. So at least we finally got fresh towels and the next day someone came from room service to clean. Also the laundry room doesn't work with an international phone number and credit card. Its a hotel - you would assume they deal with people traveling internationally. The funny thing: the stuff knew we were from Europe, they knew the problem and when we ask for the laundry soap the didnt even tell us about the problem. It took almost 1 hour to finally get that help from them and they used theis phone numer and charged it on our room bill then. That was also quite disappointing experience. The breakfast food was good, but very expensive. The room was big and clean.Overall it was a good stay, but i would not cone back or recommend it, cause i experienced much better service at other places before. (Especially for this price)Rooms: Room was big an cleanFood & drinks: Food was really good and the staff there was super nice and friendly and helpfulNoteworthy details: Valet Parking costs 75 dollars extra per day (incl tax)

First, the valet , Andrew, and the housekeeping staff were awesome and very personable. So this review does not reflect on them at all!The location was decent. Near a great breakfast place, Cafe de Casa.As soon as I walked through the doors for check-in I was “greeted” by Donnie, a VERY disgruntled worker. His first sentence was “I’m going to kill” and then he trailed away and stopped and asked how he could help me. He made it clear he was not happy with the company, and mentioned multiple times he “hated his job” and it was “ruining his life”. I tried to be a good listener and showed concern, and he kept on stating how much he hated it there, was so unhappy and would never stay here. I’ve been in human resources for over 25 years and have never experienced this as a customer, outside of my workplace.I was concerned to say something, knowing he would know it was me, but I was also concerned to not say something. I slept on it, and decided to speak with a manager the next morning.I spoke with Veronica, the only manager on duty, and told her what I had encountered. She said, thanks for sharing, and that was it. As a customer, I would’ve expected something more for my experience and trouble. But there was nothing.I felt so bad for Donnie, but it was very uncomfortable for me to be in that situation. If I say something and he gets fired then he has my information, if I don’t say something then he could be pushed beyond what he could handle. This experience made it uncomfortable to walk through the front doors after being out and about each time. For this, I would not recommend staying here.UPDATE 1/3/2024:The Manager of the property did reach out to me, Jalen, and recognized I was in an uncomfortable situation. They also offered me 10,000 points, in which I declined. In my email response I stated "Thank you for your email and your time. The circumstances are unfortunate. I’m not sure if you have ever experienced something like this as a customer, but I can say that I never have. It was extremely uncomfortable, so much so that the A/C unit did not work in our room and I did not want to go back and have to talk with Donnie again, so we just didn’t say anything. Thank you for the offer of 10,000 points but I after what I was subjected to 10,000 points can’t even allow me a nights stay, and is menial to the Marriott. My ask was to please refund me one night, again menial for Marriott but a big gesture for the exposure to such an uncomfortable situation."It has been three days since I sent my email, and I have not heard anything. I am disappointed.UPDATE 1/3/2024 8PM:I received a follow up email from the manager and they accepted my request for a refund of one nights stay. I am very appreciative and thankful.
