2150 Newcomb Ave, San Francisco“Staff are great, specifical team the checked me in at late afternoon helpful, and pleasant, and well organized. I found it welcoming and lobby area had plently if information abiut sites and places to eat in the area, with everything posted in a engaging fun way, yet profession and lobby and hallways very clean. Did a walk around inspection of the kichen, dinning/common area, bathroom, TV area and everything was exteremly clean and well cared for. I stayed in 5 room (3 others besides myself) and room was clean. Llinens offered were professional laundered and I like new/perfect condition. Many noteable San Fransico sites I found to be within a 1-2 walkable distance. I will definitely stay here when I must travel SF for medical appointments, and recommend to others! Must appreciation to the hard-working staff.”
“New Year's Eve drop was fast & easy All the staff was polite, helpful & Happy! They took my women's clothes and small tech items. They now have a form for your donation or use the QR code.”
12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
636 Jackson St, San Francisco“Saw the Greatest Generation 2024 show here. Had an outstanding evening of Trek comedy. Thanks to the performers and staff. Neat theater. Mild mildew odor, likely all the curtains.”
“Helpful staff helped me replace my headset. I struggled to loosen the lock nut. Phillip came over to offer help. He gave it a go, but asked for backup because my headset was not typical. The staff stayed passed closing time to make sure I could ride off safely. Store is well stocked of tools and workspace tables. They noticed all the stations were occupied and quickly set work stands and tables outside for newly arrived repairs. Great community space for not having to buy a tool for a one time use.”
“Internet Archive HQ offers a free tour on Friday afternoons (it's about an hour long). I highly recommend it to anyone. The tour is engaging, and the great people who work and volunteer here are so clearly passionate about the incredibly important work they do. Public availability of knowledge is an important issue that affects everyone, and we all have a role to play in it whether we know it yet or not. You'll come out of your visit here having learned something empowering.”
“The artworks around the building is so powerful and beautiful at the same time. Wonder if they have descriptions about some of the pieces and the story behind them.”
8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
1065 Sutter St, San Francisco“10 year ago I stayed at Rachael House when I was at the end of my pregnancy and until my son was 6 months old. I will never forget the home and support I found there. My life is wildly different than it was then but Raphael House was the foundation gifted to me to start from SCRATCH. Advice: Put your head down, focus and take every single step and find every possible resource available and make choices in the right direction. You will succeed.”
“A great open space with a fabuLous view of the bridge. This beach is very popular with many, and you'll see them here: dog walkers and owners, windsurfers kite surfers and more. You'll have great views of the maritime traffic in the bay. You can see birds and more within a 24min walk at almost any portion of the beach which may include the most common as sparrows and egrets, but also Killdeer and more. Great spot for admiring travelers of all types and from different locations throughout the world, and just enjoy a great Day in a fab location in MY City by the Bay!”
9:30AM - 5:15PM
50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Dr, San Francisco“Its a wonderful space, really wish they hadn't let BLM tear down the statues here but the ones that are left are absolutely wonderful to look at. During the day its very safe with enough people to make you feel like your not alone but not so many that it feels crowded. Lots of little paths to explore with hidden artwork down most of them. Even living close to the park there's a ton of things I've yet to see but the museum area is one of my favorite places.”
10AM - 4PM
1663 Mission St #305, San Francisco“I really wanna say I'm grateful and thankful for what Dr ujami herbal medicine has done for me i have been suffering from HIV for good three years with no solution, the diseases almost took my life and because I was unable to work and I was also loosing lots of money for medication, but one faithful day when I went online, I met lots of testimonies about this great man so I decided to give it a try and to God be the glory he did it. If you need his help or you also want to get cured just the way I got mine, kindly click on the link from the comments and go through his page ???”
11AM - 7PM
117 6th St, San Francisco“I think they do a service to the community and beyond. Many of the up turned faces judge saying it's wrong and what they do here is a grind. A thankless job dealing with the task of helping out some very difficult and demanding people that many have abandoned and don't care about. A lot of volunteer hours go into their work and very few people simply say thank you for your service. Instead it's entitlement and give me this and give me that and ride remarks if they can't accommodate. So, PLEASE if you read this or you stop by take a second and say thank you and appreciate the service they do provide. This place does great work!!”
10AM - 5PM

9AM - 5PM
181 6th St, San Francisco“Of the social services I've encountered in the city, the people here are much better, actually trying, actually actively help people get employment (a friend at a shelter was helped to get a job despite criminal record, smoking weed, etc.), and likely actually help people get housing. Also, kind of a secret, but another org gives out lunch and dinner across the street, and they provide coffee n snacks throughout the day, making it a good place to recharge.”
“They are very helpful here but the employees were outside cussing at some obviously mentally unhealthy people standing in line. Also I've called them 17 times in the past week and not once has anyone answered the phone...”
“Our tour guide was a very sweet older woman who knew her stuff. She was able to point out small details, and because we were such a small group, she entertained our questions.”

“Went for a dental screening they were having, was able to get the ball rolling on that & got help with talking to someone about a legal issue I've been dealing with. Mark & his office mate made me feel like they actually heard me, and was supportive of what referrals could be made to get the help I have been desperately searching for?”

“My niece wanted to visit the store after her birthday brunch. We walked into the store, and it was a little difficult to push our stroller around, so we had the toddler walk around. The bigger kids were interested in the pirate supplies. We bought a few sets of zodiac dice because there is a five-dollar minimum for credit card purchases and I don't like to carry cash in the city. I would love to return to watch a show here,”
10:30AM - 5:30PM
647 Irving St, San Francisco“I was amazed to find out that this Gallery have been in existence for over 100 years! They have been supporting Women Artists for that long and back in the day actually gave Frida Kahlo her first American exhibition. Many other top women Artists like Ruth Asawa, Dorr Bothwell, Imogen Cunningham, Eleanor Dickenson, Claire Falkenstein, Emmy Lou Packard, Dorothy Winslade, and Ruth Bernhard have been involved with supporting and maintaining this incredible organization. It maintains its commitment and wonderful support for its women artist today. They have monthly openings that are always packed with interesting people and art. They often even have live music. Now I can't imagine not knowing about this.”

654 Mission St, San Francisco“Spur has its roots in the aftermath of the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, when city leaders collaborated to improve housing quality. Today, SPUR is a non-profit organization that focuses on areas such as sustainability and resilience, transportation, economic justice, and good governance.Attending Spur events is a great opportunity to get involved with the brightest minds in the Bay Area community. This is a place of exchanging ideas on topics ranging from feasibility studies regarding commercial real estate conversion to housing, addressing the issue of 90 dB loud noise during BART work commutes, incentives for revitalizing San Francisco's downtown and many others.I love Spur!”
“Thank you for protecting our critical right to free and open—or sometimes encrypted—communication. You could not be more on the right side of history. If politicians could hold as much understanding of technology in their brains as you do in the tips of your pinkies, the world would be a better place. Keep up the good fight! ?”

“This is one place that was the highlight of my day when I was homeless. Nice people, positive sermon and coffee on a cold morning. I wouldn't wish homelessness on anyone- but this place is definitely a break from the suffering. Thank you all for everything you do ❤️”
“SCRAP is awesome! Always something for everyone. Insanely reasonable pricing - don't let the lack of price tags scare you, you'll always pay less than you expect.”
