One of the best stays at a hotel I've ever had. All 3 shifts of the front desk were top notch. I have never had front desk agents treat my friend and I the way they did. 3 separate times we came back in the evening and there were no 1st level parking spots, all 3 times the 2nd shift front desk guy came out and moved HIS car so we could park, dude even walked up to the 2nd level garage and stopped me just to let me have his spot.These guys need raises ! Great location, great price, and clean.

The room was really nice and clean. Staff was friendly and gave me a lot of informations around the area. I didn't have to worry about parking because there is no charge for parking if you stay at this hotel. The location is great! We stayed there and parked our car for 2 days without moving it. Just walk a block there are cable cars station, we purchased 1 day pass, unlimited ride, it is easy to get aound. Pier 39 is not far, it's just about 15 mins walk. Lombart St is just 2-3 blocks away uphill. Only the noise from people and cars on the streets bordered us sometimes. Overall I still gave them 5 Stars! Will I stay there again? Absolutely Yes!

My mother and I have stayed here numerous times, and there is no where else in San Francisco we would rather stay. Their places are always clean. They always go out of their way to make sure you're very comfortable, and you have everything you need. We love the views, we love the neighborhood. The staff and employees are so kind. We will SURELY be coming back to stay again when we can. They are in north beach, very close to lots of restaurants and shops, and it is very safe. Tony is the man, and the rest of the staff seem really nice too!!

Great location, very noisy from the street and the Tools on the above floor, 11pm and still thumping around.Walkability: Close to the tram and walking distance to the Piers (if you're semi fit)

Excellent!!!! We were driving around after our visit to Pier 39 and found this great hotel close by.#1 thing that hooked us up was the parking. Parking is available and included in the stay.#2 item that we loved and made our stay above many others, we were attended by Tony. He is charismatic and very helpful. Gave us a map with valuable pointers to the city, highlighted hotel policy that could help us, and overall made our stay much better.The room, we stayed at a single bed King.Smells well, perfectly clean, good/comfy bed.The location is amazing, did I mention parking was included in our stay.The hotel: smells well, is throughly clean,One thing to rise an eyebrow, the elevator we used had a mechanical sound that might be disconcerting, but to me it sounds like is just doing its job. I might be biased because the rest was so good that I’ll take the stairs.Again thank you Columbus Motor Inn, your team, and Tony.

Per:- Price/performance unbeatable in San Francisco- early check-in possible without a fee- Fast check-in (receive your desired room)- Rooms clean and quite quiet- One free parking space per room- Location very good (North Beach)- Sights within walking distance- Area safeCon:- Room without fridge (big minus point)- No possibility to wash (Tip: North Beach Laundry. Very clean, no homeless people and nice employees who offer to help)

Hotel close to Pier 39 and you can go on foot or by Uber, it was Sunday and we walked. It was peaceful and we looked at the architecture of the place, also close to convenience stores so you can eat something for breakfast or buy something to eat at the hotel, there is a small table in the room, there was no minibar. The room in our case met our needs very well with a safe, heater, coffee maker, iron, clothes dryer. Rating 10 for the friendly hotel attendant, she received us very well above expectations and resolved a problem so quickly that I was pleasantly surprised, I'm sorry I forgot her name. It was May 13, 2023, the afternoon after check-in. Many thanks to her again.

Great hotel with a great location. Everything is within walking distance. The harbor, Lombard St, etc. The staff is also very friendly. The rooms are fine. Tidy and clean. You have everything you need.

Great location and free parking (important because there are signs all over the city about car break-ins, even at the hotel they ask you not to leave anything visible in the car). Close enough to walk to Fisherman's Wharf, where there are many shops, restaurants, boat trips, Pier 39 (where the sea lions are). Even closer is the "end point" of the Cable Car, Powell-Mason line. Many restaurants, pharmacy/grocery store, on the hotel's avenue (I felt safer walking there than in the city center). Room ok, at least it lacks a minibar. Cleaning could be better. The bathroom light works on a timer (it looks like an air fryer working lol).

Really very well located, with parking, clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms (quiet room with a view of the wall but we were outside all day), pleasant staff, coffee maker and tea in the spacious room… in short, a very very good choice.

Nice place to stay in SF. Safe area to have walk, very close to piers in Fisherman's Wharf. Staff is very kind and helpful, they could help us with lots of our questions. The room was nice, it's a bit noisy during daytime, but Stull it was okay for us.We did bicycling during our stay, and this place was an ideal starting point for that.Don't miss the Lombard street Crooked road, when you're there, it's very close!

Good room, very well located, 50/50 service, two different gentlemen attended us, the one in the morning was a sweetheart, super friendly, the one at night was very bitter about offering a service.Free parking at the hotel.
