Related to the deli service.I recently started using the Molly's Stone deli service and was blown away by how unorganized the staff was. The first thing that struck me was I couldn't see who was talking to me because I couldn't see them and they couldn't see me!!!!When I was trying to place my order of baked fish cod, the staffer said she didn't understand what I said! I repeated myself several times trying to break it down until she figured out that I was ordering baked cod. Finally I said white fish with breadcrumbs in the oven. Hardly anyone else spoke English.PS I am fluent in Spanish and heard everything that they said about me.Not good.

This store is ashamed to put their prices on their products throughout the whole store. After previously living in this neighborhood for 5 years, this place should be ashamed. If you go to other Molly Stones their prices are not this high.

Great food and delivery service through Instacart. I found them during Covid and continue to use them. I highly recommended them.

Great store with super friendly employees and nice selection, including niche items and a vegan section! For a small store, they have a nice liquor section with wines of all varieties. Something for every palate with a focus on local wines. They have a small parking lot which is so convenient for being in the middle of the city

Over the 1.5 I have been in California I have purchased at mollies and this is the 3rd time I have bought something that is EXPIRED. THIS IS ABSURD since they are overpriced. If I could give a negative star I would.

I've been in a couple of times but balked at paying $7 for a small tart. Against my better judgment I dropped $56 here the other night on four items and they were all awful. Sky high prices for poor quality.Quiche lorraine - $19.99. Instruction said to bake at 350 for 15-25 minutes. When I took it out of the box the filling had separated from the crust which was weird. I put it in for 15 minutes, took it out, the filling was a bit mealy, had very little in it other than eggs, and the bottom crust was soggy while the side crust was dry and flaky. I put it back in for another 15 minutes and the bottom crust was still soggy. That happens when you don't bake the crust first and get it nice and firm - if you put a liquid filling in, it will soak into the crust. No way I'm going to eat raw dough.Vicolo sausage pizza - $11.99. The toppings were tasteless and way too salty. Bolani spinach in flatbread - $11.99. The flatbread was soggy, and heating it up in the oven didn't dry it out. It also had a bad aftertaste like slightly rancid oil.Bolani curry flatbread with some sort of beans (lentil?) - $11.99. Flatbread also soggy, the beans were really dry and there was no curry flavor that I could tell.0 for 4, and this experiment cost me $56. I called to ask about returning the two items that I had only sampled, and whoever talked to me said I could come in tomorrow and talk to the manager about getting my money back. I asked why I couldnt' come in today and he said yeah, I guess you could. I thanked him and ... silence on the phone. So I said goodbye and heard the click. This place looks like a place I would love to shop at but the poor quality control and sky high prices left me really disappointed. I probably won't ever shop here again.

Was so excited to try this grocery store but was surprised at how expensive it is. But more disappointing than that is the bread I bought was already moldy! Bummer - guess I won't be going again.

The service, food, meat/fish/chicken are great, however the prices are getting out of control and are really taking advantage of the current economy by hyper-inflating their prices way above inflation rates to where it is becoming disrespectfully offensive towards their long time customers. I have been shopping at Mollie's for over 20+ years, only b/c it's the closest market to where I live and they were already the most $$$$ store in all of SF w/ even higher prices than Wholes Foods back when they used to be a very high quality store prior to the pandemic. Enough is enough.

I wanted to give a good review to the store because I really liked the vibe of the store and the whole neighborhood. I like the selection of produce that's available in the store but unfortunately people who work here are not very friendly. I tried to find two different items on two different occasions and every time I had really hard time with the staff who either did not know themselves where to look or were too busy and not willing to help. I eventually found this items myself but I think the management of the store should concentrate on training their employees to provide better customer service.

I have been to Mollie Stone's grocery store to pick up some lunch to go from the deli with friends. I love building my own sandwiches as different grocery stores in the city, and this is BY FAR my favorite one! All of the ingredients are high quality, and the sandwich was definitely worth the cost. I will be stopping in again to grab more picnic foods the next time I am in the area.

This review is actually for the Starbucks inside of Mollie Stones. These baristas are some of the nicest baristas ever! They always pick up the phone when I call about certain cups and they make my drinks THE best. They are quick, friendly, and courteous.

I don't live in the area so I don't get to go to this grocery store often, but I do love stopping by to go through their good selection of vegan meats, gourmet cheeses and deli sandwiches. There's also a decent selection of wines and beer and many organic brands. The prices are really hit and miss here... it's cheaper than Whole Foods in a lot of ways but also a bit more expensive than your local corner grocery store. That being said, the food quality is exceptional and there's such a wide variety, I don't mind making the walk over to pick up a round of groceries or lunch here every few weeks.

Unfortunately they're ridiculously high prices overshadow everything else about the store. A flat out rip off. I got two yellow onions and it was $6.53. Two yellow bell peppers were $8.27! Absolutely crazy. How do they justify these prices?

I bought a ready made turkey sandwich and the lettuce, avocado & condiments were rotten. The sandwich tasted odd when I bit into it and so I opened it up to find rotting food inside. Obviously, this caused me some gastric issues. If you have to order a sandwich there, order a fresh one.
