awful bank! please do yourself a favor and do not trust them. you will lose everything. i was their client for 15 years and now they are holding my funds on hold without any reason. citibank is out of funds and cannot honor their client's funds anymore!

I'd like to acknowledge Personal banker Nicola Tang of Citibank SF inner Richmond Branch. She is a excellent representative of the Citibank team and in my opinion fits the gold standard in customer service and client advising. she assisted me with evolving my fathers living trust in addition to opening a account with Citi bank. This was a pleasant experience to many people don't know their job this was an exception and I was very satisfied. Thank you Citibank and Nicola Tang She was efficient, knowledgeable and worked in a timely manner I received complete "white glove service"

Ukrainian blonde rep can't do her job right. I specifically asked her how to setup someone wanting to send me $ from Zelle to my account. She told me the person sending money can set it up. I texted it to see if it worked. Found out I need to set it up with mobile banking. Why didn't she tell me this? Unacceptable she gives misinformation. Just saw Tammie Yang at the Noriega branch and she set up the mobile banking and guided me through the process. Was done in 15 mins. I can't understand why one rep is fully trained and the other one is a screw up? This gives Citibank a bad image. You can't trust they could service your needs. No wonder they have so many negative reviews. Chinese teller took 30 mins to make a straight deposit and no cash back. This is ridiculous! Some employees are inept. She needs retraining. This branch has nothing but incompetent staff. Don't waste your time. Go to other branches if you want your needs met. The Ukrainian lady has high marks on charm and a courteous demeanor but short on "brain cells" - real air head.

I agree with the other reviewers. Banks should be discreet and courteous and just do their business without asking for private information. If you swipe your bank card and they know you by your passcode, they should just take care of you. This is why I do not use Citibank anymore.Update: the ATM machine miscalculated my deposit and the staff had no way to go into the machine and check on the money taken in. I will not use this location to use the ATM ever again.

I just will never understand 9-5 bankers hours while most working folks work those exact same hours m-f. Is EVERYONE supposed to do their in person banking on Saturday?

This is not my usual Citibank but I needed help with a special account. Rather than take the time to call the appropriate department I was basically shown the door. Yet there were no other customers. Did I interrupt internet surfing? Was it my work books and somewhat unkempt/windblown hair? suggest a new manager ASAP.

Since Covid has been around, it has been very difficult to actually find a bank branch that you can walk into. My nearest Citibank has been closed for a year because of the pandemic. They would also close if the wind blew the wrong way....very flaky branch in the Castro. Anyway, this branch on Geary was great: 1. It's large, 2. there were three tellers on a Saturday afternoon and 3. there is a parking lot!!! I am so happy to have finally found this branch and equally happy that they have Saturday hours. In addition, it was a well run bank. Bank officials at desks actually got up when they saw the line growing longer and offered assistance as well as putting a third teller on a window. Strange to be happy for that type of service but sadly, it is not seen much anymore.

Employee of Branch of Citibank Bank Melena at 4455 Geary Boulevard is very rude and behaves unprofessionally towards customers. She always doesn't have have time.One day when we have been there she said, she going to have break time and we have to wait 30 min. We are customers and why we must waste our time while she wants to eat?

Angela Lam is the manager here and she is AWFUL. I waited 20 minutes to process a new debit card, and when I was finished she said she didn't make me a temporary - and that if I wanted one, I'd have to go through the entire process again.
