This branch at 845 Grant used to be better than the 1000 Grand braWhen they had Denise or Ivy worked there. I tried to call them no one pick up the phone, I personally drove to the branch yesterday. Met the new personal banker who used to be a teller and I guess Citi's reorganized after the laid off or what, she gave me her business card, I called the number she said would be her direct line 415-293-1084, phone kept ringing not picking up then hung up, same number I used to call the previous bankers, apparently same desk, no answer. Then called the other phone line listed on her card, which is 415-982-2035, message said choose the person you like to reach, but hung up on it's own. I called the 2nd time to the banker, again not answer. she did call back after my 2nd call and I also sent e-mail for her to call me. Since she called back I up the rating from 1 to 3 stars.

Been banking at the 845 Grant Avenue Citibank for 20 years. Beautiful building, efficient staff, never have to wait in line, ATM is always working. I'm surprised at negative reviews as I've never had a bad experience there.

If you want to remove a name from a joint account, it's up to the bank manager. It's not up to the people whose names are on the account. If the bank manager denies it for whatever reason, the only option you have is to close the account. It's absolutely ridiculous.

This branch manager is so unprofessional. We went in at about 4:15pm hoping to get her to do an account authorization. Her name is Livia, she is so rude, telling my wife that she is very busy and just walked away. She went back to her desk and was just sitting there. I understand it is on a Friday afternoon 45 minutes from closing but to just ignore a customer the way she did was very unprofessional. I am going to file a complaint against her. I would give her a negative star if I could.

I've gone to both the 1000 Grant Avenue and 845 Grant Avenue Citibank offices for well over 20 years. Each time they've gone out of their way to be polite and accommodating. I needed some complex documents with a medallion signature and the bank representative clearly explained what was required. Each time they have handled my transactions with courtesy and all done correctly. THANK you employees.

Ms. Liva Zhang helped me to open a checking account in a late afternoon last October. She is very patient, super informative and professional. As a matter of fact, all the staff members in that Citi Bank are helpful. Though I just closed that account, I still want to say thanks to Ms. Zhang.

I am starting a Private Banking Relationship with Citibank. We are moving our net worth to them and working with a Private Banker in Washington DC.To begin we have to open a checking account.Seems simple right? Not at this branch. I called to ask if they are open and was told "we are too busy to be on the phone. Give us your number and I will call you back when I am less busy."Frankly a terrible start to a Private Banking Relationship. I guarantee I will not use this branch.

Bad . This Citibank wont honor and cash its checks. A client of mine wrote me a check. Yes I dont have an account here. But the check is issued from this bank. They wont cash the check. Futhermore they asked me about my occupation. What business is theirs in what work I do??Oh by the way i am a local merchant and will tell everyone not to go here. If this was my bank I would expect the people that I write checks to be paid not sent to another bank. What good is a bank for?? 1 star. Ill cancel my Citibank Visa as well.

Need services wire to escrow closing my loan. five staffs and no customer in the branch when i walk in. Teller Miss Shafirina Fok told me that she wasn't able to work on the wire because she just back from vacation, her computer cannot issue her password to get in !!! That's so hilarious !!! Aren't Citibank only have one computer can work on customer's request? I request can other staff using their computer to help? the answer is NO !!! I already got kicked out by two citibank for wire services today and I fully believed ALL STAFF FROM CITIBANK LOCATED AT CHINATOWN THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PROCESS WIRE TRANSFER!!!! THAT'S SO SO SO RIDICULOUS!! Finally went to the branch @montgomery st, only two staffs in there and one personal banker, but I got respect a lot, they are able to work on my request easily. SHAME ON CHINATOWN

Really bad customer service from start to finish and complete waste of my time and money. Be careful about their promotional products offerings as I met all of their requirements, criteria, did everything they asked for, and even provided them with concrete evidence and chains of emails with proof and nonetheless, they do not honor their own words and promotional offers. Practically a scam, just to take in your deposits.

The manager refused to service me as she said she needed me to have an appointment even though I was the only one out of two customers in the building at 4 PM and she was chitchatting with your coworker. She said she was so busy working and then when I left continue to chitchat with your coworker. This is disgusting.
