I've been a customer for nearly forty years as I've always lived or worked nearby. Just The Best! I am always treated good by this family and my patronage doesn't go unnoticed. I've never had one, but my out-of-town niece insisted that the sandwiches made here were the best delicious bargains ever.

Turkey Salami on the Dutch crunch was delicious. I wonder if they can toast it? It would be elevated toasted. Deviled eggs were bomb. I love a good deviled egg.Good coffee bean selection too, they can grind it for you if you need.Great quick lunch spot when you don't want to deal with the ratchet Safeway nonsense.

THE QUEST FOR A GOOD DELI SANDWICH IN SF HAS BEGUN. I pass by this store often (great place for chip cravings, last minute groceries, wine for housewarmings, and ice cream pints), and I finally tried the deli counter today. I ordered the falafel sandwich (more of a wrap/in a tortilla) and the veggie sandwich with avocado. Both were delicious! The veggie sandwich used the Dutch Crunch bread, which is already a win. The avocado, jalapeno, pepperocini, and mustard gave all the other veggies a punch, and everything was stacked well - the KEY to a good deli sammie. The falafel was flavorful and moist, and the hummus had a slight kick due to some hot sauce (their spicy sauce). The sandwich maker also remembered all my requests to make the sandwiches vegan! Very happy with the food for a neighborhood spot.

I've known this family since moving to the area back in 2005, and when I tell you that they've become a part of my family, it's true! I couldn't imagine going to any other corner store in SF! From my family to yours (whomever is reading this) shop local, starting with the Church St Groceteria!

It's convenient and good. The only thing I hate is the price. Thus store is a little on the expensive side but it's right by my job. I just don't understand how my sandwiche was more then the specials on the board.

Every city needs a corner spot like this with solid deli sandwiches, snacks and the staples. The veggies sandwich is *chefs kiss* loaded with fresh sprouts, avo, and the works. They also have hummus, falafel (and other vegan friendly goods.) For breakfast sandwiches, stop here too - for my New Yorker friends missing a bodega style menu, this place doesn’t disappoint. Come through!
