I love Chloe’s closet! The owner is very friendly and the ladies that work there are very helpful and friendly. Both stores are very clean, well organized, and they have nice selection of clothes. The merchandise changes regularly and there are good sales.

Bought two size 7 dresses here for my daughter. One for holiday family picture and one for Halloween costume. They were purple and pretty. Not pristine (has some thin threads hanging), but cute and I know she will enjoy them! Since she'll only wear these a handful of times, I like buying used to be more eco friendly so happy to have a neighborhood consignment option!

The bag I dropped off stuffed with well-cared-for children's clothes yielded $7. It had ski and winter gear in it, wool dresses, Mini Boden, Aqua cashmere. If you want to know why nice kids resale can't survive in San Francisco, this store is your reason. I have been shopping at Chloe's for 10 years and won't be consigning here ever again.

The best children's consignment store in the Bay Area and my favorite store on Irving! I love that not only you can purchase or consign clothing/shoes but there's also lots of kid gear, useful toys, etc at this store. Lots of brand new, never used items too! This location gets lots of new things every time I stop by. Customer service is incredible! Michelle is always ready to help answer questions. She has the biggest smile on her face regardless of the time of day. Just today, I was picking up bulky items and called her when I was outside. She happily brought it out to my car - amazing service!

Bottom line--if you ever have any small and reasonable issue with selling or buying an item there, don't expect any customer service.The manager blamed me for their mislabeling a product--I wasn't familiar with the sport, so I assumed their label was correct. They didn't answer their phone or return my polite messages to their Berkeley store. When I finally went in to their SF store, they said it was my fault for not returning to their Berkeley store--despite the large closed signs and locked doors--and the unreturned messages I left. I don't usually leave bad or long reviews of small businesses, but this experience took me aback.

***Terrible customer service***don't sell or buy anything unless you want to be left flying.in the wind if there's an issue. So I bought what I thought were soccer cleats at Chloe's Closet in Berkeley. They were labeled as soccer cleats. They're actually baseball cleats. The next day, I then left a message asking them to call me back so I knew what I could do to return them. They never called back. I left another message. I thought their Berkeley store was closed, so I went to their SF store. They wouldn't take them because I hadn't returned them within the week. And I hadn't returned them bc the Berkeley location didn't call me back. I don't recommend this store. I've been going for years. I've never had to return anything until now. The lack of concern was mind blowing. So don't buy or sell anything here unless you're prepared to have no customer service if anything goes wrong. They actually said they didn't mis-labeled the cleats because they label all their cleats as soccer cleats--so it's your fault if you don't know anything about cleats and you trust their label.

I love Chloe's Closet. They always have cute outfits in the window that draw me in to look around, and too often, I find something to buy. It's a small, crowded shop, but the people that work there are very nice. I have consigned things there that my daughters' have outgrown and replaced them with many new (used) items. The prices are good and there's a discount if you go on Tuesdays. If you're looking for something specific that they don't have, be sure to have them check their other location in Bernal Heights.

Well organized by size and girl/boy. Toys, books, etc. easy to access. Lots of bett name brand items to chose from.
