Chase has been a horrible bank to do business with. If I could give them a zero I would

I am on a month of trying to close my accounts. As a former First Republic client of almost a decade. I physically went into this branch - TWICE - and was ASSURED it was taken care of - TWICE. "Anna" gave me her personal card which goes into phone tree hell. Not only weren't our accounts closed, but AGAIN (will be my fourth time) I have to go into a PHYSICAL branch(I live an hour from the nearest physical bank - was in SF for visiting family). RUN don't walk away from this bank. No comparison to First Republic. Can't believe people accept such poor service.

Asian lady with straight hair medium length that works here was prejudiced towards me. How hard to answer the question, is power home inc under chase and she doesn’t want to tell me the answer! A simple YES OR NO. But kept telling me NO WE CANT TELL YOU THAT. What an imbecile.

Great Chase branch to visit. When I was applying for a card, there was a fraud alert on my profile, and they helped me dispute the claim. There's always a banker to talk to, even if you are late for your appointment or just walking in.

Not friendly and not helpful and rude. Said his "line was broken" while trying to get thru on the phone - got the feeling he just wasn't in the mood to do his job. He said I needed to call myself, while the agent on the phone said I needed to go into a branch store.

You may wonder why there is often NO PARKING in the 12-car underground garage at this branch. Scenario: you search the neighborhood for a parking spot, because the bank's garage is full. You go into the bank and there are a small handful of customers. HUH?I know the reason there was no parking: The branch permits their 9 employees to park in the garage, leaving as few as THREE parking spaces for customers! I complained to the branch manager and to the corporate representative. End result: There will be no change in policy. Any business that shows such disrespect for their customers is not a business I choose to do business with; I closed my accounts after 19 years.

We scheduled a notary appointment online and were told that no further confirmation was needed if booking online. However, upon arriving for the appointment, the person we were scheduled to meet told us we should have called to confirm. To add to the frustration, the individual refused to notarize our documents. When we raised our concerns to the manager, Candace, she reiterated that they could not notarize our trust documents but still made copies of them. (Why? Is it legal she did so? ) Additionally, she directed us to the Stonestown Chase location, stating that they had an appointed manager who could assist us, even though it was not their branch.Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating experience and one of the worst we've ever had.

My recommendation is -- if you get a call from someone from this branch identifying themselves as Christina, just don't engage. I just had the most bizarre experience. I've banked with Chase ever since it was Wamu (so 20+ years?) and have never had an experience like this. Or with any bank for that matter. On April 12, around 2:30 pm, I received a phone call from Christina Yang from the Chase West Portal branch telling me my account was inactive due to lack of activity. (Some background in case in case it matters -- I have a few accounts with Chase and this one was one associated with a minor) I asked some follow-up questions because it was the first time I had heard about this; I wanted to know how I could avoid going inactive. Christina's "customer service": 1. She did not speak in specifics. First she said if an account is not used for 5 years, it will go inactive. Then she said something about "1 or 2 years." 2. She told a customer to "google it." So since the account in question had not been inactive for 5 years, I asked what the policy was at Chase and she told me to google it. (remember, she called me, presumably to inform me and provide me with instructions.) 3. She became irate when I said I needed clarity. When I said I was not familiar with this policy and was not given this instruction before, she said "we talked about this 2 years ago." 4. She hung up on me when I asked to speak to someone else. I asked to speak to someone else so I can ask my questions that she was not able to answer. She hung up abruptly. I called the branch back twice and nobody picked up. So I'm writing about my experience here. If anyone from the branch reads this, I recommend that this employee be trained in customer service.

Went to the chase ATM, it didn't give me money then gave me a receipt saying that I had withdrawn the money and charged the chase fee. Went inside and was told I needed to go file a complaint with my bank and there was nothing they could do. No managers onsite and no they couldn't just give me the cash either. Isn't what I expect from a bank!

Racial Profiling at its finest. Went to open a high school account, wasn't aware that your child mist be present. The unprofessional banker didn't want to wait until my child got to the brunch. He just tried to brush me off, but since I had my other child with me why not proceed. Didn't happen he started getting loud and yelling at me got an attitude. I had their birth certificates and social security card didn't meet his standard, but it's approved by the bank. Left and went to another branch where I wasn't treated like a second class citizen.

The service is uneven bordering on dismal. I echo and emphasize all the other negative reviews written before me.1. Private Client service, you would think, if you qualify they would treat you with a little dignity and respect. NO. The Private Client staff here is rude, the lady name "Irina" believes you serve her. Her demeanor borders on unprofessional. The p's and q's are not part of her vernacular. She's unresponsive, and her sole goal is to get your deposit. That's it.2. While the counter service used to be great, but sadly it has degenerated into a clique - adopting the you clients work for us. This branch is lacking any "service". The attitude, laziness, general demeanor and irresponsibility. From the lady that sits in the private client office referenced above, to the bankers sitting in the cubbies, the bankers that they refer you to. I worked with 2 of those and the lady "Irina" in her private client office all gave me a run around, all had the attitude I worked for them. I had appointments with their bankers that their bankers were a total no show on the call. Amazing!RECOMMENDATION: Chase HQ, State and National level to come do a routine audit of this bank's service and performance. You're losing money here. OR SWITCH out the manager as this lady is either over whelmed or has no concept of management.West of Twin Peaks demographically has household income that rivals few other parts of the city in earnings, there are no less than 3 major banks in this neighborhood: THAT MEANS, there's revenue here and there is also competition. You would think Chase would put some mindshare and customer forward thinking for this branch.Chase, wake up as this branch can do better.

This Chase branch has two lazy employees who portray as if they want to help & assist, when in fact they have NO CLUE on how to troubleshoot basic banker logistics. This lazy teller pretended as if she knew what she was doing, she didn't no NOTHIN! When I asked for her manager & made it clear to her manager that she was very lazy, they both got their feelings hurt & asked me to leave. The manager is CLUELESS!!!!! Telling me the system is down, that wasn't true! Chase @ Stonestown specifically Ben was knowledgeable enough to complete a simple task. Bottom line, depending on what you are, you get treated different. Again, this Chase branch has some of the LAZIEST workers I've ever encountered!!!!!
