What’s the point of having an “after hours” ATM sign if you’re locking the doors anyways?

Branch shut on Saturday afternoon and card reader on the door appeared broken (multiple customers couldn't make it work). Therefore no access to ATMs. Not a promising start as a former First Republic customer.

Met with Lin. He helped me so quickly and swiftly. Loved the experience. Thanks, Lin

Tried to call ahead to see if they had a banker available after being told at another branch they were too busy, and this branch doesn’t even pick up the phone. Useless bank with terrible customer service.

Manager seemed to be least interested in helping. FYI to the manager it doesn’t take more than 10 mins to add someone to an existing account, we successfully did that at another branch. It’s funny despite of telling him how long his job would take he seemed least interested to help but very much interested in giving us excuses as he didn’t want to do it.

This branch bank gets 1 star and it would get zero if I could give it that. The ATM machine has not been working for three days. It did not work on New Year's Eve. New Year's Day, and today which is the second day of the year'2024. Can you imagine, you can't get cash so you can't tip service or bar tenders it's horrible! The ATM also said my card was deactivated. I talked to the teller there and he said it was working for other people.. um what the actual F... what kind of answer is that ? I told him I wanted to speak with a branch manager and he said I needed to call the number on the ATM machine. I called Chase Bank's # and they verified that my card was not deactivated and that this was the ATM machine. Called the branch several times, and no one would answer. These people, employees at Noe Valley branch Chase Bank do nothing to help the situation. Unhelpful, and lazy is what I'm going to characterize them. They suck..

Incompetent employees. Horrible experience paying a bill here, hiccups every step of the way

The folks who work here are very nice but the management of this branch is non existent. They don’t have staff or authorization, ever, to handle anything aside from what you could do yourself on the app. I was literally told today the branch is “in between management”, and it shows. Choose another location.

Incredibly helpful and patient customer service! I had an appointment with Nikolas to open a bank account. I'm not a US citizen, which made the process a bit more complicated. But Nikolas explained everything very well, which I appreciated since everything is new to me. Thank you!!

The hours online and on the physical door say they open at 9am. Yet it is 9:30 and the bank is closed. This isn’t the first time it’s happened at this location.

Incompetent branch staff. The manager is an absolute racist. Do not bank here. It's expected since their CEO foster that culture.

The last couple times I stopped by, I received very poor customer service. In general it seems like these people are feeling bothered by the fact that you’re there and need help. They are not helpful and they can be quite obnoxious. I am planning on closing out my account soon.

My mother passed away recently, and in order to get access to her Treasury I bonds ($90,000), I was told by a Chase District manager that in order to get a Medallion Signature Guarantee, I needed a copy of her trust, a copy of her Treasury statement showing a balance under $5,000,000. (I wish), and her last Will and testament. I went to this branch because I could not get an appointment at the 15th and Market branch. While never mentioned, I also brought a copy of her death certificate from Atlanta Ga. When I arrived, I was told by another customer that they were waiting for the financial adviser, and when they heard that I had made a 1PM appointment, the customer told me to go ahead. When I told the adviser I needed a Medallion Signature Guarantee, he excused himself, and came back to tell me his manager said they would only do the signature guarantee IF the Trust was funded at Chase (I don't even know if Chase has branches in Georgia). I got the distinct impression that the 2nd customer had a higher priority than mine. This statement concerning the Trust needing to be funded at Chase is ludicrous, as most trusts are not funded at Chase. All I needed was a Medallion Signature Guarantee. Chase was only being asked to verify my identity. I have a $115,000. checking account balance. This bank's customer service sucks unless you have a high balance and it is funded at Chase Investments

The people who work here are amazing!!!! Lots of the customers don't know wtf they are doing - Yo to all the adults out there bring your documents to the bank don't pretend like you don't know what you need to bring to a bank. The lady in front of me was 40-50 years old acting like a fool child taking the time of 2 bankers then she didn't have the right paper work and didn't even say thank you - she just wants some kind of confirmation- it's a bank they have to keep records by law.. also this other dude must be lonely he's talking about his kids for 5 mins also in front of me.. it's a biz be kind but have your stuff in order and don't take ppl who days this is a psa to every customer.
