The banker named Roy Chan at this bank is incompetent. I requested them a letter confirming my close accounts for my income verification. He took 15 mins and came back telling me they did not do that and that's their company "policy". Bullshit! A waste of my time. I called chase customer service and they were able to help me with no hesitation. Don't go to this bank. Useless banker.

Been a long time Chase customer. Anyone remember Washington Mutual? This was my first time going into this branch. This location is one of a few branches that is open on Saturdays. Even tho it's only open from 10am-2pm, when I got there at noon there was no wait. Upon entering I was greeted with a friendly smile and a, "hello" by one of the staffs. When I got to the window to cash a cashier's check the banker was also friendly and smiling. She deposited my cashier's check quickly and efficiently. I left saying to myself, "wow, that was the most friendliest branch I've been to."

Even though it's small, it might be the best service we've ever experienced. They speak English Mandarin & Cantonese.Walk in is welcomed, we actually went inside the bank to downgrade our account. Because our banker in Stonestown branch don't answer the phone or email or text and to downgrade account I need to make an appointment with him.So I randomly walked in to Chinatown Branch, the wait is very short even though it's a very busy branch.& The lady who helps us Irine Zhao is super nice, she listens to our complaints, and smoothly help us downgrade our account with very nice attitude, and of course she did her best trying to save us from leaving.Good branch.

This was my go-to bank for business deposits and general banking. ... until yesterday, when I really needed a bank. I just had my purse nabbed with credit cards, phone, etc., and after filing police report, this was my first stop. When I got inside, I explained to the bank representative what my immediate needs were. Of course I needed to stop cards before they might be used fraudulently. He said they were much too busy to help me. There were actually only two people in line. When I told him that I'd just get in line, he said there's really no one who could help me and did I have an appointment. What?! So I just left, in search of another Chase Bank. By the time I got to the Montgomery St. branch (also asking me if I had an appointment, and, no, I don't make appointments to get robbed), they were able to help and stop the cards. But, Chase Bank, you should know, that in the time it took me to run over to the other bank, the stolen cards were used and over $2000 was charged on them. Your loss Chase, for hiring employees who don't take care of customers. The difference between my experience with Chase (where I've been a customer for 40 years), and First Republic Bank was night and day. The staff at First Republic was helpful and took care of my banking needs professionally. On top of that, they were mindful of the experience I had just gone through. If you're thinking of making a choice between the two banks, go with First Republic.

Quite odd, I guess it's a good lesson to learn about racism (there all all forms for all races). I think you need to be Asian here. Literally ignored for 1 hour to simply validate my ID which took all of 2 minutes. It's a good thing I never went to chase for my mortgage, and I don't advise ever going here for that. But I'm sure they are fine only providing business if you are Asian.

Here's a little bit of background information about what I've been experiencing with this location: My dad's second wife worked at this very location before Chase opened. It was once a dim sum restaurant that has turned into a scandalous mayhem and a constant feud between me and my dad's second wife. Here's why: When I was a teenager, my mom and I opened an account here. She is no longer with us anymore, but that's ok! I have come to believe that we were hassled for the fees associated with our checking accounts being overdrawn. I will take full responsibility regarding our checking account being overdrawn. However, I was a teenager and didn't think careless banking would cost me my mother's life. Weird repercussions and serious consequences. Hence the associations that have been established to negate this from ever happening. I know. But I have learned my lesson and will work continuously to not jeopardize my account with terrible habits like disregarding the account balance on my checking account. Anyways, back to the associated mayhem and never-ending feud that has not been elaborated previously in this account of my rather unique experience with the stakeholders at Chase Bank and previous dim sum restaurant concierge. My dad is a con man (ex-con man to be quite honest if I am not stupid enough to believe he will not strike again with karma) who deliberately set out to take advantage of the fact that my now deceased mom was once a hard-working woman who just wanted what was best for their kids. In fact, any parent would want what is best for their kids, right? Including my dad. When it comes to addressing a new family affair, my dad's second wife is actually quite the exception. The statement goes as to how parents will go the extra mile to provide and protect their kids. Hence you have your stakeholders, the current employees staffed at this very location and their family and my dad's second wife. (Great, now this place is iconic. On second thought, maybe I'll have that hidden treasure on a yearly basis and on special occasions) *Quick Disclaimer* I hope no one in trouble with the crime or feeling guilty will take any action that might want to harm me after reading this. I want to express the truth about my intentions and what's been happening. I also what to address any odd behavior coming that my neighbor from my dad's second wife (now that she lives with us) and my dad (starting right after my 3rd year of going to university). I hope writing this review might clear up any misunderstandings with anyone and not only my own banking experience. I don't normally like talking about my mom's death, but I had to. Her passing away really made me see how someone's upbringing can have an effect on one's point of view towards money and their behavior towards others. After starting this review, I can now understand why it takes hours even years to be able to "sit there and chat with a banker". The fact that there are bankers at Chase bank that speak Chinese and English is a blessing. There is disproportionate number of Chinese speakers at Chase Bank and not enough bankers to accommodate them. I wouldn't be surprised if a new system is incorporated to make an appointment for you to meet with your banker. According to another Yelp Reviewer, their time is very expensive. The extended wait time is needed to see who can suppress the urge they get that often defeats them.

I would like to express my special thanks to Janice Huang . In my opinion, you are the best employee of the year. Thank you personally for your help. The best experience and memories of visiting a bank in my life :) 20 stars out of 10!
