Coming from 1st Republic, and no one at these branches knows anything. This is the 4th time coming to a branch without any help You can’t just walk in and speak to a banker. Tellers having trouble accessing my account and transfer money from one account to another internally. You cannot speak to a banker without an appointment and they charge for business account checks which is totally ridiculous. This is not just about this branch, but chase in general, they are not handling the process of merger well at all.

There were three people on Saturday early afternoon trying to get into the lobby to use the ATM. I specifically verified on the Chase web site that I may access the ATM after hours. No, I could not. The door opening with with your Chase card does not work.

Access to ATM by customers has been completely restricted. Yet chase will charge you for using a non chase atm. This is nonsense.

Awful service. I called the branch, I can’t get a person, need to make an appointment to ask a simple question. WTF I want an answer not jump through hoops to get an answer. They canceled my free safe deposit box and it took my friend to tell me the reason. She said the reason is you need a balance of $130k to qualify for the free box. Now why did it take my friend to tell me this? She didn’t work there. I was told by customer service to go to the branch and talk to a banker and maybe I can retain my free box. I dashed down
to this branch and the idiot teller told me I needed to contact customer service. I told her they told me to come down here to talk to a banker. I was irate and I told her don’t bounce me around like a “ping pong ball.” I happily took her suggestion and closed my box. I was so angry I raised my voice, the security guard stood next to me watching men Who wants to be bounced around? I was sooo happy I closed my account out later and am super happy to open a new account at Sterling Bank where they treat their customers with appreciation and you get a LIVE person when you call the branch. Even Citibank as big as they are, they answer the phone at their branches. This bank sucks in customer service and showing respect to their customers.

I don't know what people are scanning but I live in this neighborhood and use it all the time. It reads from my phone and I'm in. No problem for years. People have always been friendly and helpful. It's so handy I switched my other account to this bank as well.

Scanner outside the bank doesn't work, people saying on here it's been that way for months. I know this isn't the branch's issue, but I have no sympathy for the pigs that run Chase bank. So please, fix your goddamn scanner. Fillmore st. is home to many restaurants and bars whose employees rely on after hour access.

This bank deserves a zero rating. Tried calling the branch, no answer, have to set up an appointment to see a banker online. Called customer service was told to run down to the branch. Issue is why did they start charging for my free safe deposit box. Went to the branch the idiot Chinese female teller told me I needed to call customer service. I told her they told me to come down here! Dah what is going on here? She said she can close my box. I responded, "Like I care." The security guard came over and stood watching, I didn't give a damn. I was irate being bounced around like a ball. My friend told me later the real reason why they started charging for boxes, you need to have $150k in your account Wow, now it took a personal acquaintance to tell me this. Isn't it the job of the bank to do this? WTF! This blew me away. They could've sent out letters to the customers or email us. This is crap! What set me off is, I can't connect with any team at the branch when other banks like Citibank, FRB, Sterling, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, you can reach a staff at their branches. I don't have the time to set up appointments online just to ask a simple question about why they charged for safe deposit boxes when they were free for many years. FRB was taken over by Chase I immediately closed my accounts. I later closed out the other accounts too. I want nothing to do with this shit institution who treats their customers with such disrespect. They don't deserve my business. Glad to have washed my hands clean with them. Crappy ass bank!!!

Lauren and Andrew were both stellar and so was the gentleman in the front who helped me initially. With a recent credit freeze, it’s been really hard to be able to apply for a new card especially in time for traveling and they helped me get the full approval with a single phone call by noon of the same day! So so thankful and highly professional well-being human and personable!
