Worst company to give your money to! With obstinate employees and excuses around why they put holds on your payments that they deem abnormal (as in too high). SO BEWARE when you try to PAYOFF your Capitol One account! Expect to get the run around wondering when your payment will release. Be sure to monitor your credit bureau information to insure it is reflected properly.

OK WOW THIS COMPANY SURE KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS OK IVE BEEN WITH CAPITAL ONE FOR THREE YEARS AND ON JUNE 13Th I was a victim of credit card fraud ok I was alerted on the June 13Th about fraudulent activity of someone attempted to use my card and pay it off but it kicked back so I was notified from Capone but they put a restriction on both of my cap one cards for the security protection as they said but then a woman asked me who did I give my information too & I told her why would I give my information out to anyone and then the woman told me That there is a authorization signed in my name from M&T BANK and I told her and several of them I don’t bank with M&T BANK ok I’ve even called M&T BANK to inform them and they also said my name is not on any account so that means my name has been forged so again I am a victim of credit card fraud okay this is so bad until my scores are dropping & why ??? Because the fraud unit who is allegedly working on the case but isn’t except for one person I remain to be anomalously with her name but the fact is capital one is currently still charging me with my cards restrictions on them so how could I actually pay for these cards being past due if I’m being charged & both cards with are my quick silver ending in 4527 & BJ’s card ending in 3369 Okay this is really a nightmare and I want a FULL INVESTIGATION on the FRAUD UNIT as well because they have simply gave me the runaround for months telling me they are investigating but are not doing anything so this is for the corporate office please I need a INVESTIGATION ON THE FRAUD UNIT and also let me add this every time I spoke to someone I could not understand them because of there thick ACENTs ok this is really crazy and they were treating me like a dam criminal no will not recommend them to anybody and I just want a refund or to fix this problem so I can resume using both my cards ok the FRAUD UNIT IS VERY POOR HANDLING THIS CASE AND HOW IVE BEEN MISTREATED.

They have put my account on hold for 3 weeks I cannot access voicemail as representative. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with I can't get anybody to call me back after 8 messages. My funds are frozen and nobody will give me an explanation!!!

Beware of these crooks. They are not open on Mondays.Capital one bank does not release funds after deposit into their checking account. I opened a checking account 3 weeks ago with a check deposit.The check has not cleared up until now. They placed me on voicemail, I do not have access to a customer representative.Please do business with capital one bank at your own risk.Capital one credit cards are safer,but not capital one 360.Update: a lady called me from capital one 30 minutes after I posted this review.Capital one said that they do not know when they will release my funds. I do think that I am being punished.These people are the scum of the earth.

Very frustrating to deal with. Over-the-phone support is very poor - the rep I talked with did not know the difference between different credit cards and was unable to assist in any way. might as well plat a recorded message directing you to the website. Doesn't look like they care for customers.

For using their credit card products outside usa, beware that though you may not pay a foreign transaction fee, you will not get the best currency exchange (ie midmarket), but rather will get something about ~1.5% worse. Other credit cards from different banks can do much better (around 1%).

Mail to me many times apply Credit Card ,but when I apply didn’t give credit card to me, when I got credit card from Wells Fargo, mail to me to much times, please don’t mail to me any more!

No matter what issues I have. I am glad to have a company like Capital one to have my back. They are always so friendly and professional when I do call. If I have dispute they do all the leg work and resolve it. They are the best company in the world to me. I appreciate what they do. Even during this pandemic they haven't skipped a beat. I hope they are around for years to come. I would give them 100 stars. They provide quality service. They have always resolved every issue even if I think they can't help. They still help and get it figured out.

I have been a customer with Capitol One since the early 2000's. I am struggling financially right now and asked them to lower my payments and interest for six months. Apparently, my hardship doesn't "qaulify", nor does my being a customer with them for so long matter. Trying to do the right thing and continue to make payments. Called Discover, who I also have a card with and have not been a customer with them as long. Not a problem at all! They cut my payments in half and lowered my interest. Capitol One suggested I go to an outside debt consolation company instead of helping their own customer. WOW!!!

I get four junk letters from this company every week. To unsubscribe you need to physically mail in a letter, which I haven't gotten around to yet. Because I get so many junk letters form this company, I associate their name with junk, I associate their logo with junk. I would never get an account here because this company is junk.
