A wide variety of saltwater taffy flavors are available, along with both new and classic candy options. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

It’s an old fashioned candy shop. There’s a lot of saltwater taffy here, along with other old and new candy type to offer for kids. I saw many types of candy that I couldn’t imagine existing. Overall, good experience and probably good souvenir gifts for friends and families.
Kid-friendliness: It’s candy! What’s else?!
Wheelchair accessibility: The store is quite cramped with all the barrels, so wheelchair people should take note.

We got a variety of flavors of taffy and all were very bad texture and taste. Seemed old.

Old candy. Definitely moisture got to some of the $46 of candy I purchased. Also expensive. Did enjoy seeing some nostalgic candies though.

Not a huge selection, but decent enough. Employees were engaged and friendly. Keep your eyes peeled, they have candy in every corner.

CHINA WARNING. I always try to come in this fine store when I am in SF. This last time I just did not see the old classics, not as many. So I added what I thought was closes to the candy I use to eat as kid. It was for my 9 year old. It was mixed in with the few American classic they did have. When I flew home I got to thinking I better see where this candy was made. Most of it in China! I had to take it away form the kid and trash it. See photo. We will not put anything in our bodies from China. We do not like there dictator or trust their government. This is who we have a problem with, no one else. My house is full of Chines stuff. No food. No way. If you are ok with Chines candy, ignore this and enjoy!

This candy shop has a wide variety of candy and a great selection of salt water taffy. The taffy is purchase by weight, so grab a wicker basket and fill it was you go through. The only downsides were:There wasn't many diabetic/sugar free options. They must have had airconditioning previously as most of the individually wrapped hard candy by the windows had melted at one point. I'm sure it was fine but It looked unappealing.
Dietary restrictions: There is a.small section of sugar free/diabetic friendly at the entrance to your right hand side.
