Super nice mechanic! I didn’t realize my out of state vehicle needed a smog inspection until I was in line to register my car at the SF DMV. He got me in and out within the time I was waiting to be called up to the DMV window!

They do walk ins only first come first serve. I walked in on a Friday at 1pm and was the only person, done in 20 mins. They charge what seems to be some standardized price of $78.25 for STAR for cars made in the 2000s. It's near my house and I am satisfied.

Walked in on a Friday at 10:30AM for a STAR smog check.Antonio got me in right away and I walked to Bi Rite while he completed the check. Car was done and ready to go when I got back about 20 minutes later. Super friendly and quick service.Cost was ~$80

I got an oil change in September 2023 and discovered days later they did not replace the cap resulting in oil spilled across my engine. I have been unable to get in touch with anyone on the phone and I had to go purchase another oil cap and supplies to clean my vehicle.Service: Oil change

While getting my car registered at the DMV down the street I needed to get a smog. Drove right over to this place and I was done probably within 30 minutes. $68 all in for an SUV.
