Staff are actually pretty friendly and helpful. I've been to other stores in the city where they get impatient with you if you're not a contractor. “It's rare to get excited about a contractor. In my years of home ownership, I only reached out to contractors when something broke, or if we had to do a renovation (headache). But Tom at California Shower Door is probably the most responsive, empathetic, and gracious person I've ever encountered (like, ever, not just in the world of contractors). He is absolutely unreal.
