Was told they couldn’t take any of my things because they “aren’t brands they buy”… i had everything from Ralph lauren to forever 21, every item was different. And most of the stuff on their racks is slave labor Shein junk anyway so not sure what they are smoking. Would have been fine if they just didn’t like then but would have preferred to have been told the truth. Go to crossroads instead

The selection of clothing was limited. While looking through I noticed a variety of the items are really worn to the point of them being unwearable and it does not reflect in the price.

Went in to look for a black jacket and the first one I tried on had cigarette butts broken up and smashed in the pocket. I don't even think they're checking for cleanliness or damage when they buy some of these items. This was disgusting and so are quite a few of their items. Just be careful before you purchase anything and check all the pockets and zippers and buttons. ?

Buyers knowledge is not satisfactory.

The quality of stuff here is really bad for women. The men’s looks ok. The buyers are “being specific with what they want” for women’s now (summer 2024) but it’s probably because the store is packed already with really strange out of style items and they can’t take on more overhead.

The buying part is always so slowwwwww. It looks like they always have someone in training, making things even slower . BE, please be pro active about that process please. Selection of clothing and shoes varies and I notice they take more funky items compared to Crossroads.

The staff are trying their best with how busy the store gets. They're understanding and the prices are really fair. The resale is also really competitive.

Came in to sell the other day & placed my stuff down in "line" (seats next to the selling table) went to browse around as I've done numerous times, to be told I needed to sit down/wait with my stuff with a less than desirable tone (I understand my property is my responsibility, you can convey that without telling me to sit like a child) Waited about 45 minutes that I could've been shopping their store to then be told it was fine if I left my bag of stuff they didn't take, if I wanted to go shop around before I checked out....cool so you wanted me to watch it till you went through it, then it didn't matter? Upon looking at prices/quality (I found a dress with broken strap to the desk next to the dressing room to let the staff know & was treated extremely oddly the worker literally said "okay?") They're wildly over pricing items, but when it comes to "buying" they lowball the value of the items they take (I'm sure if I came back to look at the pricing of my items I sold them they'd far exceed the estimates "value") Another dress I found with a mesh overlay was running with threads everywhere marked at $16 I asked if they'd be willing to discount & was told by the same young woman who I pointed the broken strap out to that "no they would not discount as they take into account quality when pricing". Usually I'll take some of my credit to grab some items but between the $18 used jeans, 46$ dirty boots It's really only worth selling if you were gonna donate the stuff anyway.

pretty good prices compared to other stores on Haight, and I was able to get some pretty unique finds! The staff are also really welcoming and friendly

The waiting room to sell clothes was completely full, yet they only had 1 worker buying clothes, even though there are 3 stations. Multiple times during my hour wait did other employees walk in, not in any rush, and ignore the full line. Not sure what the point of having so many employees is if they’re just standing around

A waste of time. Don’t do business with this company ever.

They got the most out of style out of fashion girls at the counter checking the clothes to buy, I brought in some stuff that was actually fire as hell and they said no one wants it, like cmon, then I look through the racks and it’s all ugly stuff, could be a cool store if they did it right

Not awful but definitely a tourist trap. Yes you can find cute stuff there, and I have definitely scored some finds, I've noticed there are a lot of fast fashion brands like, shein, forever 21, H&M, and Zara I feel like the prices they give are comparable to those a target or any department store. Yes there is some vintage stuff and they do have a really good upcycling program but if you are actually trying thrift in SF, I would say maybe skip this one.
