Lovely place. It is linked to Peet's entrance, so your can get your book and go read it with a nice cupa. Staff does a great job putting together theamed book displays. And all the little extras like journals, stuffed toys, greeting cards are nice.

Legendary store. Have always enjoyed every visit here. I always find good finds each visit from all the many options to choose from here. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I love the location as it is near a restaurant I adore, Max's Opera Cafe. Peet's shares the building and entrance so that is a nice perk. Buy a book, get a beverage, sit and enjoy both. There is a parking garage with Valet service in the building. Love the many live talks with authors.

Books inc is a local independent chain in the Bay Area. They have a good selection of books, magazines and sell games puzzles and more. Fun place to shop

I was looking for books about birds. And this place didn't disappoint me.I was also asked (as a favor) to get One Nation Under Blackmail, but only the Vol.1 was readily available. Then, the store owner was kind enough to help me get the Vol.2.The estimated arrival of the said book was 2-3 days. It arrived just the day after my request. What a service.They got a handful of books about birds, but there's not much space in my luggage. But still, I had to choose two from the stack. One was on sale, so it was a steal. I just couldn't pass it up.

I was out running so errands today I stopped in after passing it a lot . I have no particular book genre I was looking for other than what my boyfriend wanted I found these books in the store . This place is very clean . The customer service is really good I was greeted and I got some recommendations. There where some book on sell as well . I love it I would be back really soon . I recommend it 10/10

An all-around great book store with good selection of books, cool stationary, magazines, cards etc. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Authors and other literacy events are hosted in-store as well. Last but not least, is their up-to-date, user-friendly Website noting new book releases, events etc. Located next to Peet's Coffee, it's a book/coffee lover's dream come true.
