I took a guitar ii course, it taught songs. Some technique but not enough that I would return to the school. The instructor was distant & needed to get through a set curriculum whether or not the students could keep up. One particular omission was a practice guideline of any sort.

My first guitar class at Blue Bear was a lot of fun for me. I had a great teacher, Kent Brown, and everyone in the class was better than me. I definitely will continues with Blue Bear.

Full disclosure, I work here, but recently I signed up for a songwriting workshop so I feel I can honestly offer feedback as a client.
Blue Bear School of Music offers group classes, band workshops and private lessons in guitar, piano, voice, ukulele, and more in most contemporary music styles, for all ages. Also available are classes in DJing and electronic music. Little Bears music classes bring music to young ones 4 months to 5 years of age and their caregivers. Located in San Francisco, most instruction is in person at campuses on Fort Mason or Mission Bay, but Little Bears music classes are offered in parks around San Francisco and the East Bay.
