We had a lovely time at Blackwell's and found the selection and staff to be great! The store is well marked and easy to browse with helpful tasting notes on the wine bottles. Austin gave several great cocktail suggestions and even a new dinner spot for us to check: Mama Ji's! Really tasty, we're here now!

Not gonna lie, I was hesitant to order any kind of spirit online, especially being an out of state buyer. This place is legit! They have my business for days, weeks, months to come!

The online shopping experience was a disaster. Customer service was lacking and reasons provided were irrelevant and circumstantial. Unable to go into my normal specifics, due to the speed at public review and the specifics contain PII.Red Flag: You can only contact them via email and the phone number I did find...no one answers.

If zero stars possible that would be my rating. Please read all reviews before selecting a business to use. Isn't it ironic that this Dita person responds to so many negative reviews saying customers are lying? Really defensive isn't she. Can so many negative reviewers all be wrong? Please use caution in selecting this business. If your bottle is shaped irregularly chances are it will arrive damaged. They ship in styrofoam "bottle" packing that is shaped for a wine bottle which may split in shipping if your bottle isn't that shape. Then it becomes a customer service issue where Dita os always right, not the customer

Never returned my call regarding delivery of Cassis liqueur despite stating that my local call would be returned. At the store the sales lady said that they didn't have it in stock; when pressed, she said it was available. A family business poorly run with little to no concern for local customers. Do not shop here! Not worth the effort.

ordered online and paid for 1 day shipping, as quoted by their site. 3 days later, I send a message asking why it hasn't even shipped, "Ground is not guaranteed, and everything takes longer this time of year. It may get there, but if it was urgent for me i would have used express." I guess its on me for believing their shipping quote! What an idiot! thanks Blackwells and happy holidays! hope my family gets their present in time!

Super Sorry Customer Service Experience, with my online order. Could not get the modest 10% discount applied. Gary Offered to cancel my order, which is not what I wanted. E mails attempts to get a solution with the company , only brought rude responses from Gary.

Very skeptical in the beginning when I found out they can ship liqour to TEXAS on their website. After reading some of the reviews I take the risk of order online and get it ship to TEXAS. Yes this is a legitimate website/online liquor store. Package came in very well packed, they care about their product and customer. 5 stars

Avoid at all costs. Your only shipping option is an excessively expensive customer abusing monster of a "business" known as FED EX and they will RUIN whatever reason/event/gift/etc you have for placing this order!!

Excellent variety of wine and spirits for a small shop, including some favorites not available in other, much larger SF stores. And the service is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!
