Bibbo gave me the best haircut I have ever had. EVER. I have baby fine hair which is so difficult to turn into a flattering style...but in 15 minutes Bibbo DID IT. Cannot recommend enough.

Had concierge book me a mani/pedi and a blowout last minute this morning and Bibbo had graciously accepted my appointment request. I arrived and was greeted by Mr. Bibbos that ushered straight away to my nail tech that did a fabulous job and had a wonderful spirit. I had a blowout by the talented Mr. Bibbos and walked back to the hotel with pins in my hair to change and reveal the most gorgeous hair. I’ll be back!

Katia and Bobbi were phenomenal hairdressers! This was my first time at the salon and I happened to luck out and get these two amazing people attending to my hair. I actually just walked-in and they had a cancellation that allowed me to get right into a chair and get worked on. They finished the highlighting with a trim and a blowout and I feel fabulous!

When I got my hair done by the owner of this Salon (Bibbo) I was going through a lot in my personal life
I went in because I desperately needed my hair done and not knowing the actual salon owner (Bibbo) was going to do my hair [Literally all the way up until the end I didn't know it was Bibbo's Salon I just saw Salon and walked in ]
This man was loud obnoxious and kept throwing back handed compliments criticizing me and how in a nutshell thought how low class I was comparing me with a penguin in the end
If I can give him lower stars for how disappointed and rude this man was I would .

Bibbo was a nice enough person. We were out of town and need a last minute color correction ($220 USD).
He said that there was a 50/50 chance that with my daughter's black hair it might come out more Orange and Red. Don't get your hopes up, he said.
Ok, sure. The bleaching took her hair back to a very close Brown that was her original hair.
The entire time, he would not give me an estimate on the final price. Kept saying, my daughter would love the final result.
The hair was more blonde than black (the box color she added didn't take, thankfully). So Bibbo asked my daughter what color she wanted her hair to be, she picked a medium brown. Bibbo said that was "too light, she weeks look better with a darker Brown color.
He picks the color and him and his assistant perform the color treatment. It came out purple, a dark purple that dyed her scalp purple, her forehead purple and final color color a dark purple. With school starting in a week my daughter was devistated. Bibbo offered to do some highlights the next day at 8:30am.
My daughter rushes over to the salon at 8:30am sharp. He wasn't there, none of his staff had any idea he was going too fix her hair. The end of it is that the highlights didn't happen, she left SFO with purple hair. She was told it would get lighter... It did, more purple. the last picture 3 days later. The chemicals burned her skin by the ear. :(

I went to this hair salon for the first time while visiting SF for work .Just amazing ! I travel a lot for work around the world and tried hair salons in so many places , but I have to say , I think this is the best I’ve been so far , the owner Bibbo is just fantastic , as well as being warm , friendly and funny and making you feel valued , he has so much experience and skills. I had an hair cut and 2 colors highlights, I was impressed with the way he did it , and it was perfect . One of the best highlights I had . He did exactly what I asked for . I live in France , but I will come all the way to SF to do my hair now .Thanks Bibbo and katia , I love my highlights.

Worst Haircut of my life by Bibbo. He is fun but ruined my hair with the hot razor, he has no idea what he is doing with it. It literally took 2 yrs to get past this awful haircut. My hair shaft was so compromised the heat of an iron fried my hair to the scalp and even after i went short to minimize my trauma because of all the chunks cut out it was a slow process that put me in a wig for a four months. I felt horrible about my hair. I was visiting from Florida and had to return to the salon before going home to try to get something done with it. He was offended and tried to say i did not know how to style my hair( I was a salon owner at the time and 30plus year stylist) then had a co worker try to help. She did what she could. I asked her to blink if she thought my hair was f-ed up and she blinked 10 times. Do not let Bibbo use his razor better yet, find a new stylist.

Love love love this place!!! Was struggling to find a good hair salon in SF for my hair coloring and I'm so glad I found this amazing place. This place felt so warm and welcoming. Bibbo and his female associate worked out a tremendous deal for me and gave me an amazing transformation. In love with my new hair color. Definitely took some years off my face!! Highly recommend it!!

I've been going to Bibbo's salon for 25+ years. The is the third incarnation of his shop. He has made each an amazing success and clients have followed him faithfully. You cannot find a more skilled technician of his occupation. But beyond that, he is genuinely the most gracious, buoyant, person I know. When I enter his business I feel special and welcome. And when I leave, I feel transformed and more positive about my appearance and that experience.My daughter has been going to Bibbos with me since she was 2 months old .She is now 20, in school in Boston, and doesn't let anyone touch her hair except him.

Bibbo's salon is an extremely high end salon with such expertise in all areas of what a salon should be. I have been going to Bibbo's for many years and I absolutely would never go elsewhere. It's a one stop shop. They take care of you like you are a family member. If you haven't been to the salon, you should give it a try! You won't be disappointed!
