I've just encountered a very rude sales associate at the Van Ness location. I frequent Bevmo every 2-3 months. I was buying a liter of Campari and grapefruit soda. The associate: Jon said I need your ID to scan. He didn't say to verify. I declined the scan as I have before and I usually show my ID. He then became defensive, not sure why. After I said no to the scan he became upset. Now I work in hospitality, luxury hospitality. I myself would NEVER have engaged a client/customer they way he did. His approach was unprofessional, unfriendly and uncalled for. All I can think about is his obvious and blatant bias. This is not the first time I've encountered this type of behavior at Bevmo, sad to say. BTW don't think he scanned the ID of the person before me. Staff needs training BADLY.

Staff has a terrible attitude. They overcharged and refused to help a disabled person. The store is not ADA complaint, will file a formal complaint with BevMo and government agencies.

Parking entrance via Sutter, it's not evident so the lot has never been crowded during my evening visits. Last came here for Beverages & Ice, and given the elevator to parking it was painless loading the car. As for the store it's large, and has a decent mix of stock. I have had mixed experiences with the staff, but I will forgive some of the less than stellar interactions based on the challenges they might experience at that location. Will add some images during my next visit.
