Very bad customer service today! Customer service varies obviously as there is high turnover. Sometimes good, sometimes indifference-- usually always young recent high school graduates, who are friendly for the most part and do a good job, as I am a regular customer who picks up Best Buy orders from San Francisco for years, but today I was treated as a criminal trespassing into Best Buy for the first time ever in all my years of supporting Best Buy at this San Francisco location! One of the Best Buy employees named Josh, a young white male either 18, 19, or early 20s decided to behave like a "Karen" after 4 other Best Buy employees (including their Best Buy vendor brand associates) who did not see any issue with me being a Best Buy customer-- even after an alarm went off on accident when I removed the USB cable to test the computer, including hardware, software applications, audio, video, etcetera, by using the web browser to view a film trailer for a documentary. Only later after encountering 4 different Best Buy employees, such a "Karen" Best Buy employee came over to me abruptly with backup from armed security and began accusing me of using a Best Buy computer for personal use for such a length of time and also shoplifting from Best Buy due to an alarm going off on accident, including remarking such a microaggression to me that, "This is not a public library! You can't sit down and watch Chinatown Rising!" while I was also speaking with the Best Buy vendor brand associate, asking questions about the product I was interested in buying as a customer. This all happened in less than 15 minutes. After the "Karen" Best Buy employee and such armed security returned to their post by the entrance and the exit of Best Buy, I asked the "Karen" Best Buy employee if he was the manager to which he responded, "No," and then I requested to speak to the manager. I complained to the Geek Squad Manager who was a young Black woman in her 20s about his behavior and also informed her that customers will not want to buy anything after the behavior of this Best Buy employee, as well as explained to her I am a Best Buy customer who regularly uses the app for order pickups as well as in-store shopping and gave her recommendations to improve the Best Buy store layout and signage to their corporate offices to avoid similar situations like this from happening in the future that negatively impacts the Best Buy customers' experience. Even other Best Buy employees were astounded by this bizarre incident of random white male privilege in public by this "Karen" Best Buy employee. There have been positive experiences at Best Buy however, such as, for today's order pickup that led me to experience this bizarre "Karen" shopping experience, I called in the previous week to have my order pickup extended an extra 7 days which only the Best Buy employee was able to input in their internal Best Buy sales system beyond what the customer is able to extend order time pickup, so you gotta take the good with the bad.... Overall, Best Buy seems very stressed out and may be in danger of closing with SFPD in front of their San Francisco location at all times, so I'd rather go to a different Best Buy location in the suburbs of the Bay Area for a more pleasant in-store personable shopping experience because the behavior of the "Karen" Best Buy employee was overly aggressive in policing a Best Buy customer as though I was trespassing onto Best Buy private property to the point of myself as a customer needing to formally complain to a manager to take action against such an employee asks the question: Why do you work at Best Buy?

Been a "elite" customer of many years and had an usual incident with a geek squad member coming into my home last month. When they showed up, they claimed that the camera and eero could not be installed cause that it was too far from my wifi. Found it very unusal. They left and I made another appointment this time I made sure I was there instead of a staff from my office. The new geek squad gusy installed the same camera and had no issues with distance from the internet and could not find the eero box that should have been left behind. I grab another eero from another office location to see if it was a distance problem, no distance problem either. What was odd was that the first geek squad that came and fail to install stole my original eero that he was suppose to install and further inspection I found out that the person also stole some $$$ (specific. five or six rolls of quarters I use for parking meters) from one of my unlocked drawer. Like I stated, this is the first time I ever encounter this. Made a call to customer service and they took a report of it sevreal days ago. Spoke with the store manager and he did not want to deal with it and told me to call the customer call center. They have a record of who came to my house/office but would not help me. Would not even want me to speak with the geek squad manager in the store. Very unusual. So if you are a customer, please be aware of dishonest and theiving installation and technician coming into your home or office. Spoken to customer service people and reported it. Still no response. I just want to warn other customers about potential thievery from store technicians coming into your home.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Ordered 2 hard drives. Got the 1st one no problem, the 2nd one UPS couldn't deliver because Best Buy had only put 1/2 of our address on the label. After an hour on the phone with someone who could barely understand english,they assured me they corrected it. UPS never got the address update. I tried putting my entire address in my account info. Wouldn't let me change my address. Didn't get my package. NEVER ORDERING FROM AGAIN

They shipped me an item that they damaged, then didn't add any packing material so it was also damaged during shipping. Wouldn't replace it and only offered me 10% of the items value on a gift card. Done with this place

good store whit really , really bad personal service: this happens today 02/24/24...like 10 to 11am best BUY 13ST SAN FRANSISCO C.a I'm was whit my wife to get some info.for refrigerator wee buy and was a damage wee cancel the orden almost month ago , so just I'm ask to lady from costumer service 'when wee get the money back this person very kind she give me the info ....but from no where come other lady whit actitude s so rude and put her finger in front my wife and start said ,don't recording ....im undestend was not right , but NOT whit this actitudes , when ask to her why she talk to my wife like this , the answer because I'm can I'm have the power to do , she call security guys after wee start to screen both,whit any chance take us out side the store like a criminals , be cause she don't want to see us and don't give service .... this lady never come to us and show o tell was in charge o some I'd to have the "power" to talk like she was "RUDE and intimidate make hands move like she want to hit my wife and me, is what I'm feeling ....I'm thinking this was a discrimination be cause wee are the poor costumers spend ur money and don't have Rights to said o make something to powerfull customer service Personal on Best Buy (13st and Harrison's)and her big company employee she have the Right to said "I'm don't want to give service to this persons security take out to store like a criminal , o was a tramp to never get my money back , in don't what a think now ..I'm a costumer from this store for many years never have problems 13 st San fransisco CA I'm buy staffs and return staffs NO problems whit personal service , but please check you personal employer and tell to them respect is first think they need to give a ALL you costumers be cause all money spending is a same ......thank you

Worst customer service experience ever.Manager Dez was rude along with many others at this store. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS.Placed an order over the phone, was told I could go pick it up in an hour and they would message me when it was ready. Over two hours later waiting at the store they continued to deny me that order saying it was under credit review. My credit card has a huge limit and when I placed the order on the phone they didn't say anything about any credit check delay. Meanwhile I purchased other items for over $150 .Manager Dez and another Manger were simply disgusting, rude and shameless in every aspect.DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS STORE.The only way I left the store with what I wanted was to get the Google employee there to get the Chromebook I wanted from the back so I could buy it then cancel my phone order. This was after the rude manager Dez actually said there was no way she could help me.WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER.

I placed a order for some almost $600 airpod max headphones from best buy Online Order NumberBBY01-806637509432. The major problem....the headphones were delivered to a hotel 150 miles away from my house. I contacted bestbuy and the hotel right away. The hotel said they refused the package as I didn't have reservation with them. Bestbuy said no problem at all you will refunded. Weeks later no refund. A month later no refund. I contacted BestBuy many many times on this and they give the same excuses. "please be patient" A year latter they say after a internal investigation the package is said to be stolen and I should contact the police. Like seriously you waste dozens of hours of my time to say I'm not getting refund in the end that it was theft? I file a police report and contact BestBuy and they say we will totally help just sent us the police report. Soon after I get a message from Elida executive resolution specialist saying they cannot help as they are not responsible for loss or theft. What's even funnier is Elida says I'm permanently banned from there online store "to protect me from further loss." till the year 2050 I've purchased tens of thousands of dollars from best buy over the years and never had this problem before. I would have been better off not even contacting bestbuy for help. What a joke business.
