How is this even a real bank? How does this place even exist? I turned in everything for an RV loan, got approved, and... crickets. They say they aren't getting my emails, even thought I get an automated email back from them saying they did. They act irritable on the phone. They ask for a million different documents even when you have Excellent credit. I honestly don't know how the place is still functioning because they aren't going to make any money/interest off me. No way am I signing up to deal with this poor level of customer service for the next 10-15 years, and they aren't reaching out to me either so apparently they aren't interested in my money and/or have terrible workers. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my time with them. And, I feel uncomfortable with the fact that they have so much info/documents on me and are a poorly managed company. Go, go, go, go, go elsewhere for your RV loan.

Always thoroughly helpful tellers with friendly demeanors. Account and service fees are markedly lower than those at BofA, and occasionally they offer a bonus for new accounts.

customer service with the indian lady, and indian guy is the worst experience in my life. I regret to have business with bank of the west. The guy infront is also ignorant. I withdrawn my money out from this bank of the west and just keep my money to wells fargo, where credibility is assured.

There is no transaction with the bank that they can't complicate or delay unnecessarily. I need an account verification letter to give to a contractor so that they can wire money into my account. It's simple and routine. It's a one-sentence confirmation, under the bank's letterhead, that I do have an account with them, and includes the account number and routing number. That's it. I went to the bank and asked the manager for the letter. Her first answer was "We can't do that." Fortunately, I had a redacted account verification letter, from Bank of the West, given to me by the contractor as an example of how to do it, demonstrating that they can, in fact, do that. I presented it, and was told that the manager would have an answer for me by Friday -- today -- and that she would email me today. When I received nothing, I went back to the bank, and was told that she's out all day at a manager's meeting. At my insistence, the employees who were there called and pulled her out of the meeting. She would not speak to me, but told them to tell me that she'll contact me on Monday. I told them that I will be there in person on Monday when the bank opens and that I'll wait there until I have the letter in hand. Every interaction I've ever had with this bank has been like this.

I inadvertently locked my account trying to connect it with Mint. It took four people treating me like a criminal only to be asked to return tomorrow?! This is the worst branch of a less than stellar corporate American cough…cough…THIEVES bank. If you must do business with this bank, do not go to this branch. Unless, you’re white, then you might be treated fairly.

hands down the worst bank in the world! do not let them touch your money! they dont help, they lie, torture and take! worst customer service ran by bunch of miserable awful bad college drop outs! opened a secured credit card and they wont close it and return my $500! they are making me go into default and they all have different stories and dishonest promises! nothing consistent or right ever! i wish the worst for them as they are criminals and should be in prison! wish i never stepped foot in that place! do not bank at bank of the worst! ghetto ghetto ghetto!
