We have been trying to establish if Bank of America is capable of helping us with the line of credit and they proved after 50 days of wait and 20-30 hours of our time loading all non-making sense documents that they are simply incompetent and that we could have had our answer within first 2 minutes with competent person. Apparently BoA does not have these kinds of people in their bank or I haven't met them yet. First of their officials that we tried to have appointment with was fired just before our appointment with him, so we were left out without any apology and without the meeting in the chaos of people waiting. However we were reassured that we can get the line of credit without any issues within 30-45 days and can simply apply online. After trying to apply online we got connected with Brenda Porter who was "in charge" of our case. We had a very hard time to get in touch with Brenda or know what stage our request is at, as she was not giving us any updates and was frequently out of office. It took her 50 days to look at our deed and realized that she could not do a line of credit with our type of deed. That's the first document any knowledgable person would check like I experienced with other banks. The quality, knowledge and capabilities of Brenda and her team as a Bank of America representatives pushed me to take my affairs elsewhere. I will stay away from working with her and her team in BoA forever and will recommend that to anyone who asks me.

This review is for Calvin Kwong who is a lender at this branch. I recently purchased a home and Calvin was my lender. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and prompt. I highly recommend him in you are in need of a loan. Excellent service!

Tellers are working hard, not sure about the bankers though. As a banker you should step up to help when there's a long teller line.

Why BofA spent money to remodel this branch is beyond me. Now, there is a huge open (and wasted) space with a couple of small rooms on the left when you first enter. One has to walk around a wall to find the three windows they have for tellers. The windows are squeezed together with no privacy. I went in today and there were two tellers working with two other staff chit chatting behind the third (closed) window. The two looked up and saw 4 of us in line but thought their bs was more important than to open up the third window for the customers. So this BofA location remodeled, changed staffing, reduced hours and days opened. Why would anyone (still) want to bank here? Btw, stay away from the 50 something year old Chinese female, she's rude, lazy and don't know crap (also one of the two chatting). I'd started to go to the west portal branch until they closed during Covid. Too bad, BofA was my choice of banks for years.

I am so upset that this bank decided to build an enclosure around the ATM machines during a pandemic! Whose idea was that?! I went to use the ATM today and was really nervous going in as I am high risk because I have cancer and an autoimmune disorder. There is no way to social distance at ATM machines and this new delta variant can infect people in seconds. The new tiny, non ventilated space for the enclosed ATM machines is really, really dangerous to be inside during a pandemic with an extremely contagious variant. It would have been safer for us costumers to have left the ATMs outside where there is open air! So of course when I go into the ATM today wearing 2 masks not just to protect myself but others, as even the vaccinated are getting sick and can infect others with the covid, a man came in NOT WEARING A MASK. Everyone, vaccinated or not should be wearing a mask now! The man without a mask on using that ATM next to me was taking a long time and so I asked him politely, "Do you have a mask to wear?" He said to me, "Yes but it's in the car." I told him how I have cancer and am high risk. He kept talking at me about whether he should go get the mask and how he could get the mask on and on, saying it was out in his car but he'd have to go get it like it was some huge inconvenience. I'm sorry but my dying of covid is a greater inconvenience. Also, I have no car and had to walk for blocks to get to the ATM with a mobility aid as I'm disabled and this able bodied man can't walk a few feet to his car to protect me?? I saw him start to walk towards the door and then he changed his mind and had the nerve to walk back to the ATM without getting his mask. I looked over in disbelief that whatever money transaction he was doing was more important than other people's health. He saw me looking at him and lifted the fabric of something he was wearing up over his nose. Then dropped it and continued his business with no mask. I shouldn't have said anything because the whole time he was talking at me he could have spread covid all around. It lingers in the air for up to four hours in enclosed spaces. This man thought his money transaction was more important than my life and others who would be entering this space. I was so appalled and upset. He just DID NOT CARE. Why are people so awful? He continued with his transaction and then left before me. When I was leaving I saw his car was parked RIGHT OUT FRONT and was a very expensive sports car. I am so sickened that this man felt his money was more important than my LIFE. I noticed when leaving there was NOT ONE SIGN on the entry doors instructing people to wear masks inside the ATM enclosure. Nothing. I took a photo of it and want to report this bank to the city and country health dept. I saw a sign on the doors to the main part of the bank about masks being mandatory to wear inside but that was only visible once you were already inside the enclosure. How hard is it to put up a sign saying no mask, no entry. I am now terrified I could get sick because of this man. Hope it was worth it for him. And as a woman I felt safer when the ATMs were outside under the street lights and around people where someone could help you if you needed. I have lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and never felt unsafe going to use the ATMs when they were out in the open on the side of the building. But now that they've built the "secure" enclosure for ATM use I feel extremely unsafe. And what genius came up with the idea to do remodeling on the interior and exterior of the bank during a plague?

Horrible service, lengthy lines, rude staff. Massive line with only two tellers. I ask the manager for more tellers and his response "Why?" He then proceeded to walk away.

This is one of the few physical branches that are still open in the area during COVID-19, but unfortunately the branch and ATM near my house have permanently closed. This location follows social distancing protocols and the security guard in front is definitely counting the number of people inside the bank. The tellers and relationship managers at this branch are very friendly and enthusiastic for their job. I have never encountered any problems with the tellers for withdrawing and depositing cash or pressuring over opening new credit cards. There are usually 2-3 tellers on staff at this location, so the lines are usually short. As for the location, there is plenty of free parking in the residential area. Overall a good branch to visit if you use Bank of America.

I now drive further to go to other branches because every visit is met with utter apathy from the bank managers. They literally just sit there, and do nothing.

Went in to talk about fees that were charged to my account. The banker told me the reason I was charged, which I knew. Didn't even occur to the banker to look at my account - but did suggest that I call the call center and gave me reasons why I shouldn't be charged. What...the...heck?! I thought I'd get better customer service when talking to someone in person. On the other hand, the call center person was amazing. She told me she could reverse the charges. And how to avoid fees in the future.

I had a 5 star experience with the bank teller who quickly and easily helped me with my deposit and foreign currency exchange. Then, we had a terrible experience with one of the male representatives who helps with accounts and things. He misinformed my family that something could easily be changed when the senior lady had to come over and school him to say that he didn't read the fine print. It clearly is not a new policy and the guy just didn't know his stuff. Nothing worse thay giving misleading information and wasting a customer's extra effort and time when it involves coming back again. Note: there is absolutely no privacy in thurs office so be prepared for your financial business vibrating from cubicle to cubicle.
