A few months back, I parked in the downstairs lot and proceeded to go up the stairwell to reach the bank on the West Portal street level. The lower stairwell door locked behind me upon closing. Reaching street level, I discovered to my dismay that the upper stairwell door was also locked and unable to be opened either from my side or from the outside when pedestrians who have seen me tried to do so. Luckily, a good Samaritan went around the corner and down the street into the parking lot to reopen the bottom stairwell door to free me. Then today, I went to the ATM to pay my credit card bill and discovered that one of 2 ATMs has been removed while the one that's left is NOT accepting payments. This location has also had sporadic operating hours inconsistent with what's posted online. Not a happy customer.

I found the person at the front desk to be incredibly rude and dismissive when I came in to access some specialized banking services without an appointment. She claimed she was trying to accommodate my request when she said there was no one available to help me at 2:00pm on a Tuesday. It appears she does not know what the word accommodate actually means. If you need help after your mother dies, don’t go to this bank; the whole things is hard enough as it is; why add insult to injury.
I walked to a nearby branch and they were able to see me right away and they actually seemed to care.

Its very stupid and retarded a financial center like BofA to not change foreign currency. Why the hell won't you take them? Wells Fargo down the street was no issue. Management and the tellers suck ass.

5 stars for the WP branch! I needed to open a couple accounts and interacted with Spencer, Fidan and the branch manager. All were friendly and professional, I love that they give out their work #s with the text feature, what a convenient way to get answers you need efficiently. Just know it's a small branch with 1 teller, but it's full service.

One particular banker and the manager here appeared to be friendly but that's all. Not experienced nor knowledgeable. I went in to open a trust account and they told me that my trust was no good. My trust was prepared by an estate attorney with over 30 years of experience and is the same trust I used to open another BofA account (at another branch). Worst of all, they suggested that I find another attorney in west portal to redo the trust. What?! Went to the BofA at Stonestown and was assisted by a young Asian banker and was able to accomplish what I wanted in under 20 minutes.

Temporarily closed as of February 2022 presumably due to staffing shortages. It's been like that for months without any notice on when it'll reopen. As a result, homeless people are camping out in front. Go to the Parkside location on Taraval and 20th Ave instead.

Unless bank and incompetent tellers....Wendt to make a credit card payment and the teller had incorrect protocol as to how to process the payment.Needed a roll of quarters ....this branch has NO money.Find another bank soon...especially during these times of great fraud activity....if you needed service you wouldn't get it here

Note that B of A customers have been scammed by Zelle a payment app associated and approved by the bank. B Of A has refused to refund patrons scammed money ....how far this bank has fallen...

Was closed and for older people like my parents it's a bad sign. They now plan to change banks. They told all their friends too and now all are doing the same. Guess they lost all their saving in China so they don't want to take a chance. Didn't help the other branches were close too

This bank has been closed since Coronavirus started. Hello! What about merchants that bank here. The old people that bank here. Now have to go to Daly City.
