  I have been taking my cars here for years, but what prompted me to finally write a review was the quality of painting done on my wife's 2019 Mini Cooper. The paint color is called "Melting silver" which is like a champagne tinged metallic silver. I took it to another shop previously for some body and paintwork, and was disappointed by the paint match. The next time the car was hit (both times while parked in the middle of the night at home in SF!), I took the car to Auto Body Experts and not only was the bodywork perfect, the paint match was perfect. The color was spot on, and the metal flake matched perfectly. If you are looking for a fancy showroom looking shop, this isn't it, but if you want very high quality body and paintwork at a very reasonable price run by an honest owner, I highly recommend Peter at Auto Body Experts!

  Peter took extreme care to get my car back to perfect condition. I had a scrape on the side that was rather cumbersome because it involved the door, the hinge and the wheel arch. When I picked up my car it was as good as new; the shape was perfect, no sign of the scrape and the paint was perfect. You can't even tell there was anything there. Besides the car, there was always a very personal attention and I am very happy with his work.

  I have brought my car here twice and both times i was happy with the surface. Both times my car got hit I took it here and they did an excellent job. The staff is friendly and efficient- they do a great job with everything. They know what they are doing and they will let you know all the information you need to know.

  I’ve been a loyal customer of ABE in the past 15+ years. I’ve found Peter, the owner of the shop, to be very professional, friendly, and honest. Its price, craftsmanship, and responsiveness are unsurpassable! Unless you are in a big hurry to get the repair done, you’ll find that this shop is the hidden jewel in the business!

  Peter is fabulous! Not only does he have a wealth of knowledge around all things cars, he's professional, honest, and really wants to make sure he takes care of you and your vehicle. We've been taking all of our cars to Peter (my sister even drives up from the south bay just to go to Peter) for 10+ years now! I've never come across a mechanic who actually cares about their client and wants what's best for them and Peter does exactly that. He takes his time and makes sure that your car is running safe before handing it back to you. Thank you, Peter, for all you've done!

Paul was helpful and communicative throughout the whole process and make sure to go above and beyond what was needed to bring my car up to perfect working order. He works with insurance and made sure to represent me to the fullest to give me and even better car then before the accident. I can't recommend Paul enough. His store is the second one on the block and can be hard to see so don't miss it!

  this is one of the best auto body places I have ever been to. the owner knows exactly what he's doing and is extremely talented! he's open late which is such a luxury in SF. my car was dented and I couldn't get the door open. went straight here after calling around he was the only place open other than the two places I went to that said they didn't know how to fix it and he came through and saved the day! forever grateful and will always use him.

  The left front fender of my Minivan was popped out due to an accident. I brought my car to another body shop and they were unable to help me. But, Mr. Le, the owner of the Auto Body Experts was very helpful and was willing to put the fender back in place without consideration. I also brought a sedan to Auto Body Experts for repair about 15 years ago. The same owner operated this business. This auto body shop also provided good quality service at a reasonable price for the repair of the sedan.

  I have brought at least 7 cars to this place for paint works in the past 5 years and I have to admit that never been disappointed. In fact Peter treated my cars like his own or perfection is a way to describe his works. All OEM parts were used to replace, he does not compromise on the quality and his paint job guaranteed for life. I would definitely recommend his BODY SHOP to anyone who wants quality and at a very reasonable price. His quality works exceeded most cars dealers in San Francisco.
