Friday, 10:05 a.m., corner of Capitol and Lakeview in San Francisco's Ingleside neighborhood: A moving truck from Alfa Moving didn't even slow at their stop sign, cut me off as they made a left turn in front of me, forced me to move to the right so they wouldn't hit my car. The driver's window was down so I put my window down, too, and told the driver he'd just run the stop sign. One of the 3 men in the cab of the truck said "F_ _ _ You". This local business in our neighborhood is the worst kind of neighbor.

Great experience! I was in Arizona and needed a moving company to move my stuff from storage to u pack facility in Oakland. Ben and his team were very responsive and great to work with even being in another state. Thanks Ben, if I'm back in SF I'll for sure use your services again!

I cannot recommend them enough. So glad to have found them for our big move! We were moving 45mins away from San Mateo. I was really stressed before the move. But the Alfa team made the whole move a LOT less stressful! I'm very grateful of their team!We were texting back and forth a week prior to our move. The owner was very patiently addressing each of my concerns. Then on the day of the move, they arrived early and very politely asked if they can start moving. They quickly started moving our boxes and misc item's strategically. They inquire us about if we want to keep the items, they even helped us disassemble our furnitures. Also they do not waste a minute of their time, I even felt bad of how hard they work.They finish the move within a couple hours which is much faster than what other companies quoted me. They are also very nice people to talk to.I think I lucked out finding them as our movers, I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic movers for an excellent rate. I had them help me move from apartment to 4 level townhouse and they somehow managed to get the job done perfectly (it was no easy feat.). They also helped me move 6400lbs worth of rubber flooring for my business 10 months later for a fantastic rate. If you hire, don't be rude and tip these guys. They deserve far more than they are charging. For the quality of services they should be charging 2x what they are currently charging.

If you are thinking "it's just one bedroom it'll be easy to move myself", you are wrong!! Trust me, hiring these movers will be money well spent. I've hired these folks for a few moves and recommended them highly. Alfa Moving has helped save me hours of extra headache over the already stressful process of moving. For all my moves, two movers promptly showed up and started moving boxes right away. Ben is the head mover and will bring along an assistant. They knew exactly how to stack the boxes and maneuver the dollys to be really efficient. We had everything already boxed up which also helped the process move along a bit faster. I could easily tell that the movers are professionals as they managed to move our larger pieces of furniture with such ease and care. They provide wardrobe boxes, wraps and covers to protect your items in transit. They also had the lowest price quote among the 5-6 SF based moving companies I contacted. Rates will depend on how many movers, with an overall hourly minimum. That being said, tip the movers well

These guys were beyond great - showed up early, were super quick and efficient. Took directions really well. Tbh they're worth the added cost vs UHaul/moving yourself - I'll use these guys as long as I'm in the Bay.

Will recommend them. They were the cheaped movers in bay area and they were quite fast. Shifted my 2 bedroom apartment from Oakland to San Jost in 3.5 hours (including the commute)

Will absolutely recommend. Moved from 1-bedroom first floor unit in Hayward to another 1-bedroom second floor unit in Burlingame. Price value was the best out of the competitors. 2 movers planned but brought a third person as a bonus. Communication was excellent even with minimal language barrier. Packed EVERYTHING when initially planned to pack huge furniture items. Might as well since they were professional and were knowledgeable how to pack safely. Huge help. Gave them a box of donuts and deserved tips! Didn't need to worry at all. Thank you for your service.

The gentlemen from Alfa Movers were absolutely fantastic! I needed movers to unload my POD, at PODS' storage facility in Hayward, load it onto their truck and then unload again at my new place in Vallejo. Not only were they on time, they were a half hour early! Ben introduced himself upon arrival, and he and his crew set to work immediately. They were incredibly efficient and thorough, respectfully asking for my input and preferences as needed. I am thoroughly impressed with how good a job they did and not only would I use them again myself, I would also highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company in the San Francisco area. Really great experience -- I had a small apartment move, but a lot of boxes and the two apartments were almost 30 minutes apart. The new apartment was on a tricky hill and up a tall flight of narrow steps. The entire move, including safely wrapping up all the furniture, took two hours on the dot. The movers were really friendly and easy-going, and the price was much much lower than I was expecting, especially for such fast and good service.

The Alfa is the most effective company that I have ever used. The mover is so nice and patient. They are very careful when they are moving. Yes I have the right company! Is under my husband name . Orlando pereira!!!! When my husband call they didn't let me talk because they didn't wanted to listen to the truth so I posted on yelp ! So people know how this company operates ! Never ever again I use this company or I recommend this company! Very Unprofessional and now I'm getting pennies for my furniture all destroyed . I'm so disappointed

These guys are the best movers for the price. They arrive exactly on time, execute the move quickly, and are super humble. $100/hr + $30 for gas + tip. Super simple. Gets the job done.
