Very pleased with both the price and the service! After receiving an estimate from a different plumber for nearly twice as much, I called Ace to get an estimate of my lateral sewer line that was currently severely blocked by tree roots. Ace did a camera inspection of the line, submitted a detailed bid, and I accepted the proposal on a Saturday evening via email. I was amazed when they called me right away, on a Saturday night, to schedule the work and arrange the down payment. Throughout the job their service, communication, and professionalism was top-notch. I highly recommend them!

ACE PLUMBING IS THE BEST PLUMBING SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER USED IN THE MORE THAN 46 YEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN A SAN FRANCISCO PROPERTY OWNER. ACE COMPLETELY REPLACED A SEWER SYSTEM FOR ME IN 1 DAY, HAD THE CITY INSPECT, THE WORK FOR THE PERMIT THAT ACE TOOK OUT TO DO THE JOB, THE FOLLOWING DAY AND HAD ALL THE DIRT FILLED BACK IN WITH THE NEW CEMENT AND HANDICAPPED CROSS WALKED REPLACED WITHIN LESS THAN 1 WEEK! Somehow a nail got in my garbage disposal. He explained to me what the cost would be along every step. He has to remove the unit to get it out. Luckily the unit wasn’t damaged, and now it’s working fine.

I had my heart set on getting a bidet. But my toilet is over 40 years old and modern bidet seats aren't made for such a model. I bought a bidet that I hoped would work. In trying to install the new bidet, he had to go to two different hardware store to find a part on the existing toilet that needed repair. Despite his best efforts, the new bidet wasn't meant to be. Jim gets an A plus for effort!

Called them for two jobs:
1 - unclog a drain.
2 - fix a clogged hot water valve.
Drain cleaning was fine.
The fix for the hot water valve introduced a new issue where pipes are knocking in the wall any time water is turned on anywhere in the house. They insist that the problem is not related and that another job (i.e., additional payment) is required to diagnose and fix. But this only happened right after they made changes to the valve (after years of no knocking) and the knocking is coming right from where the valve is.
I called back within a week and they told me they'd call me back, as they had some ideas, and then radio silence for over a month.
tldr; they left my place in a worse state and do not intend to remedy unless I make it part of another quote/job.
9/4/24 update: I ended up calling another company and they were in and out and 15 minutes. All they needed to do was adjust the valve (or cartridge...I'm not a plumber) and the knocking went away. No needless discussion of opening walls, inspections, etc.

Excellent service, very fast and professional.
I contacted Ace Plumbing about unclogging a shower. They sent Jim (James Sozzi) the same day, who gave me a very reasonable quote and was ready to fix the issue immediately. Jim was very patient with any questions I had, and the issue was resolved within 20 minutes. I'll definitely work with this agency again for any future plumbing needs, and I highly recommend asking for Jim!

I was very please to have dealt with Tyler at 11:00 p.m. on a Friday evening. He was trying his best to make our water heater work. With no luck he reassured us that it will get done. Since Tyler did not work on the weekend and it was a Friday night. He told us to call him in the morning and he would get a co-worker out if he can, to fix it Sat. Well , Tyler was good on his word. He got his co-worker Russ out to do the job. Russ was on time and did a great job!!!! Russ was very professional and did the work in a timely manner. I will use Ace Pluming again for sure!

Eugene did a fantastic job of diagnosing the leak, and then installing new piping, shut-off valves, downspout and handle for our tub. He stayed late until the job was done and cleaned up. We definitely recommend Ace!

Anthony did a great job at fixing my Grohe shower thermostatic cartridge. He quickly diagnosed the issue, found the required part and installed it. Very professional service and was upfront about the cost of the repair. Will call them again for any plumbing issues.

It was easy to make an appointment for a clogged sewer pipe. Ace called me when an earlier appointment slot opened up. The plumber who came was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, polite, and competent. The service was reasonably priced, and it was easy to pay on their website.
