Great spot with hard to find veggies and variety of produce at reasonable prices. This is my go to spot when I want to try a new recipe, I can find my ingredients here. Staff always friendly and helpful and the aisles are clean and well presented.

Interesting and varied selection of European and Asian food products. Though not the best prices, one does find delicacies. The fruits and vegetables are fairly priced. Parking on this street is difficult, so be prepared to parked 2-3 blocks away...

My family has shopped here for decades. They carry a wide range of produce (including some organics) at great prices, a dairy case with Clover and Mediterranean products, Asian (including fresh noodles & wrappers), Hispanic (beans, chilis, chips), breads, dried items, a large selection of Bob’s flours & grains… the list goes on. When they have a lot of a seasonal item (strawberries, plums, cherries), they offer them at very low prices. A place like Whole Foods would never do that. Support local businesses. They are an integral part of the community and care about their customers. The produce guys are so friendly and always say hi.

Service can be iffy when the owners aren’t present. The cashiers are completely clueless as to the merchandise sold here; most will pretend to not speak English. They have good fruits & vegetables; also a lot of quality Greek grocery items like pasta, sweets made locally by Glyka bakery, frozen spinach, cheese pies and excellent Greek chocolate and coffee.

Produce so fresh and inexpensive and staff who's helpful and kind, this grocery is a "must stop" if you're in the Outer Sunset. Farmers' Market freshness and prices in a supermarket! I was on the way to Whole Foods on Franklin to pick up two Amazon packages - and didn't want to pay twice the price for produce and cream or find they were out of basic herbs like dill. I swung in to 22nd and Irving. Metered parking out front was simple. Ultra fresh baby dill, mint and parsley, each priced at $1.49. Add almond milk and a quart of half 'n' half, I was on my way. Well-stocked, clean, friendly and convenient, I like this local store very much.

We have been coming here since the late 70's, It has been our go to store for fresh produce and fruits. But lately the quality has decreased and the prices have gone up. I recently purchased a bag of peaches (6) and everyone of them was bad. It looked okay from the outside and didn't feels squishy, but when cut open it looked like it was partially frozen and defrosted later. It tasted poorly. Many of my other purchases were of a similar demise. It is though the products are stored in a too cool unit. We are very careful what we might here and seek other nearby markets for similar products.

The staff that works here are so helpful! Unfortunately the store manager (or owner?) is very rude and condescending to his workers. He does not treat them with respect. If it weren't for how wonderful the workers are, I wouldn't come here. I'm sure there are a dozen workers rights that he's constantly violating.

This is my favorite place to shop! I have been coming here almost every day for many years. They have the freshest produce and the best prices. I can fill a whole bag for only $20! And the produce last so much longer than when I buy produce from the big chain stores. The new owner Van is so helpful and friendly. He has been wonderful about fulfilling almost any request including getting the olive oil that I like and the crushed garlic. Oh and the tomatoes!! They just smell and taste the best! Plus, there is a big selection of fresh herbs to choose from every day. There is also a nice selection of cheese, nuts, cookies, chocolates, and specialty items that are great for entertaining. They also have the best selection of apples! Oh and did I mention the Meyer lemons!!! Just the best!

Been shopping here for over 5 years and greatly enjoy the store. It has a wide selection of items you don't find in big stores, such as a lot of imported items from Europe and Middle East. The store also started carrying a selection of Asian products. They a huge selection of Red Bob's Mill products. The produce is always well priced; the 99¢ produce bags are always a bargain, and useful when I don't know what to make for dinner. With the new management there has been improvements. There are a wide range of spices, packed imported meats, cookies & snacks, tons of locally sourced baked sweet goods/pastries. Just went shopping this weekend and they are giving away free tomato paste. It's a great place in a good location to get to. Always great to support local businesses!

My family and I are long time costumers. They supply more organic and fresh produce, a range of spices, packed meat and all great deals! There is also a whole new variety of vegetables, $1 mushrooms, 75c for organic strawberries and etc. It is organized and well run, very impressed of how this market has come along! On top of that, super helpful and friendly staff, who are eager to help!

This is the best grocery store ever! They have ridiculously cheap prices for a lot of the vegetables. We got onions at 79 cents per pound and the quality was amazing. The staff is sweet and nice. Although you might have to stand a bit longer in the queue but it is totally worth it. Looking forward to my next visit
