Bought a bag from them,fast shipping but unfortunately was stolen when delivered.Contacted them and was pretty much given a 'Oh well,file a police report'. I've seen other companies go above and beyond for a customer in situations like this,this company is not one of them.Only site I was able to find the bag on but refuse to give them another dime.

I spent three hours online looking for a specific The Clash tshirt that I needed for an event for the next week. Finally found it at Star 500. I ordered the shirt before noon, as per their site, which meant it would've been shipped same day. I never received a confirmation email. I then emailed them asking for confirmation. Did not receive a response until 3 days later, only to be told the item was out of stock. Wasted my time searching and ordering from them only to not get the item I needed for my event. If I could rate zero stars, I would.

I was looking for a certain band patch and I noticed that star 500 had it for sale on their website. So I clicked on the item and tried to purchase it. A message popped up reading that they had a minimum sale of $10. So I shopped around with my wife for a few other items on the site because star 500 was the only place I could find this particular band patch. We find some other items, check out, and pay for the items. A few days later I receive an email from star 500 stating that they don't have the one item I went on to their site to buy. They didn't say it was on back order, or ask if I could wait for them to order it from a wholesaler (which I found two that were selling the item.) They simply said "we don't have it. do you want something else?" I mean, if you walk into a Chinese restaurant and see beef and broccoli on the menu, then order it and pay. then a few minutes later they come back and say "sorry, we don't have it. you want something else?" Would you not be a little perturbed as well? Any who, I just tell them to give me a refund for the patch they didn't have. My point here is, don't advertise that you have something for sale, If you don't have it. star 500 even had other items that were listed, but had "out of stock" next to them with the item link disabled. Sounds like they need to keep track of their online store a little better. Took me a while, but I found another store selling the item I was looking for. I will not be shopping at star 500 again.
