JOSE IS A LIAR AND A THIEF DO NOT GO THERE!!! On November 4th I took my car for transmission services, he recommended to install e rebuild one with 6 months warranty, after a transmission is installed the mechanic must programed it, he never did, my car stop running, I took back he kept it for 5 days, finally I went and get it, he said is all fixed, 50 miles later car won't run, transmission won't shift, I took it back and he never fixed it he blamed the company that sold the transmission, him and his sister alma are LIARS, he hides and won't face his customer and act like and idiot and is never his fault, his is: USELESS PIECE OF SHIT MECHANIC HE DOES NOT HONOR THE WARRANTIES, ALMA IS A PIECE OF SHIT TOO

I was in need of a transmission and calling places. I happened to call R&S Transmission. Manny answered and helped me over the phone. He answered all of my questions and was very attentive and informative, patient, and kind. Very helpful and gave many options regarding my car situation, to which i did not find in many other mechanic shops. The time he took on answering all my questions and actually cared about my car situation on the phone showed me that they would be a quality shop. Aside from having the best rates compared to other places. I was greeted by Alma in the office, the sweetest woman ever. Very friendly and welcoming. Manny worked on my vehicle and got it up and running in no time. Everything in my car is up to par now, and I saved lots of money as well. I'm very grateful for everything and highly recommend this shop for any car services needed. They are honest, caring, and good workers all around.

Not only did they not fix my transmission leak and charged me $300 for it, they damaged my pan which cost me at additional $120 to fix later. I don't recommend them at all, they have no idea what they are doing.Service: Transmission

My car was driven to Jose from my autobody shop (who recommended Jose) because my torque converter was acting up. I told my autobody shop that i know its the torque converter and not the trannny and that no matter what i only want someone to test the valve or change it, i will absolutely not pay for a tranny rebuild. Jose calls 24 hours later and says my car is fixed. i go to collect it and he stuck me with a 2400 bill for rebuilding the tranny. he claimed by autobody shop didn't tell him this and said to just fix it. outraged i refused to pay and we came to an agreement that i would pay and he would take a look at my BMW which did need some serious work. Jose collect my beamer, and then tells me 3 weeks later that it needed this and that and also this ansssssssssssssssssssd i was like wo wo wo wtf. Just do what i asked and fix all 12 solenoids like i asked and give it back to me. Jose says he needs his friend to do this and that he would get back to me. 3 months go buy of playing the game "Where's Jose Today" and so now i'm really pissed. I drive down to his shop (75 mile drive). When i get there Jose isnt there, a lady tells me she doesnt know anything about my car and has never seen it. I come to find out that they park all their cars on the street around the business. She then finds Jose and he tells me over the phone while im in his shop that my car was picked up for expired tags (which i have but were not on the car) and i meeded to call some tow company to get my car. I told him im going to sue and he laughed and said with what evidence. I finally tracked down what tow yard had my car went to look for my car. My car had been sold 4 weeks ago and was collected just over 2 months ago. Jose never called me or told me the car had been picked up. which i think should have been the least he could have done. Also everyone it is important to know IT IS ILLEGAL AND HE KNOWS IT TO PARK A VEHICLE ON A PUBLIC STREET AROUND YOUR BUSINESS IF THEY ARE THEIR FOR REPAIR (SECTION 85.01). oH also the car he supposedly rebuilt the tranny on ended having the same issues again, it turns out he only cleaned the solenoid valves contacts and put it back again. which is down right wrong he didnt even replace it but charged me 2400 on a hardcore lie. Which i knew but couldn't prove. . This guy is a crook, a thief.

A great place, my transmission was dead and R&S took care of things quite well. A better price than the competition and a better warranty too. I was given Jose as my contact person from my local mechanic as his shop does not do transmissions. Got my car back with a few much needed repairs plus a rebuilt transmission that came with a one year warranty. The pricing was very competitive too. I'd definitely recommend R&S to anybody needing tranny service.
