This place is absolutely amazing. The woman that runs it Raphaele is one of the most knowledgeable people I have met with regards to dogs. In addition she runs her own rescue so works with dogs beyond just the boarding facility. She has a dog in her care that was from a different rescue but staying at her facility. This dog was the most abused and shut down dog you have ever seen. While staying with Raphaele at Almost Home he has completely transformed. He absolutely loves her and when you see them together you can tell just how much she loves dogs.

RESCUES BEWARE!! The owner of this kennel has been cited for not keeping a dogs kennel clean. She is also HOLDING 8 dogs hostage for a former RESCUE'S outstanding bill. There is video of large dogs being held in small cages with no visible food or water and feces on the floor. There was a rescue dog who died in his kennel while waiting for transport. Avoid this place like the plague. There are multiple rescues whose dogs are being held for ransom! Disputes over dogs belong in the courts and not being used as pawns against a rescue who just wants their dogs back.

This is the best place to board your dogs! Raphael loves each dog like they are her own and takes very good care of them. I would definitely recommend Almost Home Boarding to anyone needing a safe and loving place to board their furbabies.
