Came to the Lowe's in San Dimas California to get some keys made. I pressed the dam help me button. I waited at the dam key machine for 20 minutes. Everytime a employee walked in my direction. I though they were coming up to help. Nope. They just walked right past me and didnt even ask if I needed help. The guy at the register looked at me too and made eye contact. Did he come over. Nope. This place sucks so bad. I'm going back to Home Depot.

Lowe's - San DimasJust went to Lowe's San Dimas to purchase a storage closet. The one I'm selecting is just under $200 and I plan to purchase at least one, possible two. The box is 175lbs with a sticker recommending getting assistance. So I walk up to the returns desk where one employee was on the store phone with a customer, the other employee (name tag was something like Gisele) was staring at her cell phone not noticing I was standing right in front of her. So her co-worker grabs her arm to let her know I'm standing directly in front of her and would like some assistance. She apologizes and pages someone to meet me at Aisle 30. As I'm walking over there I see an employee standing at Aisle 26, staring at his cell phone and I wondered if he was the employee who should respond to the page since there wasn't another employee within sight and he clearly wasn't doing anything. After a few minutes of standing next to the product I want to buy I walk up to the front registers and asked for some assistance loading up a storage closet. The young man tells me he will page someone and I told him we tried that already. He insisted he would get someone to help, so he pages and I walk back over to the aisle, passing the same employee at aisle 26 still looking at his cell phone. After a few minutes of standing next to the product I walk back up to the front registers and ask the same young man if he can help me. Just then two more employees approach, evidently one of them being a department manager and he insisted someone will come to help me. Then he gets on the mic and pages again for assistance at aisle 30. As I'm walking back there again I see the guy that had been at aisle 26 walking towards the front, going on break or ending his shift, and I go back to aisle 30 to wait. After 10 minutes I walk back to the front register and ask the young man if he can just come help me since everyone else is to busy looking at their cell phones. He assured me the department manager was looking for someone to help me but I saw the department manager, now in the paint area talking with the same associate he was with when he first attempted to call someone. So I went back to aisle 30 again for a short while and then left the store. They missed out on a $200-$400 sale. A real brilliant idea would be to have a store policy not allowing employees to be on their cell phones while on the floor. It's not just Lowe's, service in America at most places is absolutely horrible, especially in CA. Through my work I spent a good deal of time in London, England and China. Service in those countries is unbelievable. There are more people to help and more check stands open for customers than anyone could imagine. Lazy employees not understanding the concept of customer service and no store manager around to give direction or get involved.

As an unfamiliar DIYer, I went into Lowe's for my kitchen redesign a bit intimidated but Christopher erased all that as soon as I walked into the design area. Chris was so helpful by listening to my wants, explaining the process, & keeping me updated throughout the installation process. The price I paid was below my budget and their installation contractor was professional and great to work with. if you're interested in kitchen remodeling, just go to Lowe's Chris will take care of you!

The guy in paint was great! Cordial and helpful. However, we asked 3 times for help opening the powertool cabinet and waited over 20 mins so went to Home Depot. Sorry Lowe, you lost a 500 dollar sale

My husband (who like most) doesn't like to shop, went into Lowes San Dimas with me and we had a blast re modeling our kitchen. We worked exclusively with Chris E. All the way thru from counter, cabinets, hardware, garbage disposal, even where to put the trash!! This Man is so darn thorough and his attention to detail is way beyond what one would expect from a home improvement "do it yourself" kinda store. He was sure he went thru every single cupboard and made sure that we would not only like the placement but the additional functions for our particular kitchen (nothing is centered correctly) style and habits. I am sure my husband was happy he even told Chris to toss in a new sink!!! Thank you Chris for all you did to help us create an fresh new kitchen ! Stay tuned for instal updates!! I am now a Lowes customer bye bye H}%£ Depo!!

Buyer beware! We purchased Millgard windows from Lowe's in November 2022. Installation was done early January 2023. If you decide to purchase windows here instead of going through a reputable window company, be prepared to do all follow up yourself. It is now July and still waiting for screens. It's been one issue after another. Lowes uses an offsite installation department who then contracts with independent installers. There is no communication between the store, installation department or installers. What a nightmare! Best of luck to you.

Went to Lowe's in search of a new grill, Father's Day gift, Christian was amazing, knowledgeable, polite very helpful, promote him and kudos!! As the day came for my delivery, the delivery guys were professional and polite as well.. they unloaded the grill and it fell apart on my driveway, they were apologetic and asked if I wanted to return it, it got damaged and agreed.. I went back to Lowe's, spoke with ALYSSA AND CRYSTAL, and was given the option to purchase another grill and take it up with a third party vendor for a refund, after encouragement to purchase another grill, also said if I explain to 3rd party my situation can take it up with 3rd party for a discount on assembly and delivery on something I already paid for, but didn't receive anything.. logic says, I bought something, we screwed up, now you pay again and ask someone else about it? Thank you ALYSSA AND CRYSTAL for your great customer service! I hope you guys live forever! Thank you

BUYER BEWARE! This the first Yelp review I have ever done. Keep in mind I'm not a complainer. If I have a meal at a restaurant or fast food and it's bad, I just forget about it don't go back. I'll try to keep this as short as I can. We have a Home Depot close to us but we were going out of town passing by the Lowes in Covina. We bought an LG refrigerator from Jonathon who was great. He knew his product. We paid to have the old one picked up ($50) but instead gave it to a neighbor. The driver told us to call Lowes for a refund. I spoke to a person who kept putting me on hold several times. I was put on hold over 45min total and that's not an exaggeration ! We decided to return the product well within the 48 hrs return window. I was passed around to several people and I was on hold a total of 2 hrs trying to get to the right person. AGAIN, that's not an exaggeration. I was told that I needed to call the Lowes Covina and they'd handle the return. When I called them they said, "Oh we don't handle that you need to call the people that told you that.". I have more, but I can see why Lowes lacks the customers base vs the Home Depot. I will never, never purchase an appliance from Lowes ever again. So, we purchased another refrigerator from a different vendor. Lowes to pick up their refrigerator on Thursday. We'll see how that goes. BUYER BEWARE!

I've been in so many times recently - we started our garden a couple of weeks ago and have been expanding our patio. Alyssa at customer service/returns has been such a huge help our past two visits! I am pregnant and have total baby brain, and had to return a patio cushion (that I was dumb and cut the tag off of before properly checking to see if it even fit). She said it was perfectly ok to return as I had both the tag, brand new cushion and my receipt, bless her. Also forgot our military discount when purchasing our new grill last week, and when we went back in today she applied the discount for us retroactively. She's been so kind about all of it, and really made our experiences so wonderful. I won't lie, I used to be a Home Depot girl, but the staff and selection at this Lowe's has been so wonderful, I'm switching to the blue buckets! Thanks, Alyssa.

My experience here today wasn't satisfactory. I can't believe my experience today. I went to Return area to exchange for a bigger light and was told by the cashier I can only return here and have to purchase the new one at the check out registers. I told her I just came here and purchase pool chlorine at this same register. She said they stopped taking check outs. I asked her when did they stop and she couldn't give me an answer. My cousin read the sign that says, RETURN, EXCHANGE or get STORE CREDIT. I went to self check out and purchased my new bigger light, I asked for a manager, I spoke with the assistant manager, I asked him, told him what happened....He said, Vane just came out of training, my cousin heard the assistant manager.... My cousin said, U should have asked the manager What did she learn in training if she just came out.... The service here isnt like the service I just had at Lowe's in Chino, every worker in there asked me if I needed help, and that was about 5 workers.

Lowes is our local hardware store. We come here for appliances, tools, garden stuff paint stuff and many other things. Although post Covid the staff has been sparse when you do find someone to help you they are knowledgeable and most of the time very friendly.

Celina should not be in customer service. Her attitude is rude and crazy. Talking about Jeffrey Dahmer and said that people should be eaten . What kind of psychopath says that. Wasn't polite whatsoever. Terrible service. The employees at 3:10pm were flirting and calling one another sweet thing . Very inappropriate and none of them care for the customer being in their presence. So weird making a return at the Customer service. Unfortunately that's the closest Lowe's to me.

Very poor experience with customer service. Rarely do I ever return merchandise and if I do, I ensure I make it as easy as possible for whoever is offering me assistance. I needed to exchange blinds that did not have all the components in the box. First of all, the customer service associate did not even respond when I greeted her hello. As I preceded to explain the reason for my exchange, she cut me off and said that I needed to do a full return and get a new box. That was fine with me. I went to get a new box of blinds, got them cut and went to look for other items I needed in the store. Before I went to pay for everything, I wanted to make sure that all components were in the box of blinds and it was missing the wand. I then went over to the customer service associate to ask if I could just have the wand that was in the box she damaged out (which was my return). Her response was " I just taped the box really good." She rudely picked up the box and shoved it in my direction. I opened the box myself and taped it nicely back for her. She was not busy as it was a Monday night. Being a retail manager for 15 years I would never put this type of associate in the Customer Service Department! This store needs to train their employees!!
