I have been trusting H&R Block to do my taxes for several years now and each time they exceed my expectations. Their service makes the process easy and understandable. H&R Block is a joke! Paid over $200 to file my taxes & IRS informed me they made a $113 mistake & sent me a check! Will not be using them ever again, & I won't be recommending them to anyone either!

Very disappointing with the outrageous fees and charges due to additional forms required despite being laid off which is not of my control. Attempted to discuss with Branch Manager but no supervisor is on duty during the weekends. Then, tax preparer in the next cubicle came over to ask me leave if I didn't liked the prices which I was stumped he was overhearing my conversation with the person who was assisting me with tax preparation....talk about invasion of privacy. This will be the last time I will ever come here despite being customer since 2017.You have been warned shop somewhere for empathy and better customer service!

Totally unprofessional and inexperienced. Not only could they not awnser my questions but they couldn't find my tax info. I would not go here if you want your refund back

I usually do my taxes my self cuz l dont make much and would use the 1040EZ. The past couple years getting pandemic unemployment for a temp job, l thought best to let proffesionals handle it. As l usually get a refund l was in no rush. But then l heard there was a deadline to file for the CA stimulus check by October. I was lucky enough to be able to get an appt on the deadline. I had them done electronically and even mentioned to the preparer l was just in time to qualify for the state refund. She gave me the total of my tax refund and l brought up the state taxes again. She went on about earned income tax credit that l know l dont qualify for. She was european and had a heavy accent so wasnt too sure she understood so l mentioned my state taxes yet again and she just gave me my total refund amount again. I even asked don't l need to do them to get a refund ? She made a wave me off motion and shook her head no. I usually only get like $50 from the state but its something. Well silly me thinking she knew what l was saying or what she was doing cuz no, she did not file my state. Why would she not ? Every time l have had them done they always do the state ! Well l waited and waited and never got the CA stimulus check. That was a tough blow but now everyone is getting a CA inflation check too and they go by those state taxes !!! So having H&R Block prepare my taxes has cost me almost $1000

My tax pro is very knowledgeable. She gave me good tax advice for the future. I would like to come back and work with her again because she is great at what she does. The approve online is so easy and helpful. With my busy schedule at school and work, the digital dropoff and approve online allowed me to file my taxes quickly without going to the actual H&R Block office. I like the MyBlock account because I get a copy of my taxes online.

They put wrong information on tax preparation, I ask questions and seemed to always get confused look from so called professionals. They put wrong banking information even though I provided blank check, they didn't seem to know how to file schedule C and manager didn't seem to know much either. I had to fix my State and Federal with research and H&R charged me $375! REALLY SMH.
