Purchased a united composites blank from them , they went above and beyond helping me figure out where my blank was because usps wasn't updated the tracking . Awesome customer service will buying things from them again

1st time here. I've been driving past this gem forever and never knew it existed. The customer service was great. Lady stayed past the closing time and waited for me to come in from San Bernardino. Very small shop spot but a great variety of wrap and building gear. I'll definitely be doing a lot more business with them.

There's an old prayer among fishermen: "Lord, when I die, please don't let my wife sell my fishing gear for the price I told her I paid for it. AMEN."... which is to say, the last thing I need is another fishing rod; however, you can never have too many. So when my brother told me that C&M had a good deal on a particular blank (that's the rod without any guides or reels attached yet, Mabel), I couldn't pass up the opportunity.So on a nice Saturday morning, I made the long drive out to San Dimas and... closed Saturdays due to COVID. Currently, they're operating on a three day mid-week 4 hour schedule. Not to be denied, I called on a Tuesday at 1:50ish, and Colleen said, "we close at 2." Thankfully, she offered to open up for me if I drove out again. Very cool. I arrived at 2:30 or so, and Colleen spent the time helping me put my project together: guides, reel seat, winding checks, EVA handles... appreciated the service. COVID's impact on their supply chain is notable, but it's affecting everyone, and you can't hold it against a small shop when their suppliers are hurting too. We're all in this together. In my haste to get out of the store, one of the handles didn't make it in the bag! However, my brother was in that area the next day and was able to pick it up... still right there on the counter. Wear your mask in the store, and note that this is a small storefront in a commercial/industrial park, so it's easy to miss. Looking forward to completing this rod wrapping project and returning to see what else I can buy ther

Colleen is one of the most knowledgeable shop worker I know when it comes to rod wrapping. I've wrapped many poles always go to C and M for the variety of parts they have.

After 20 years of building rods I finally discovered this hidden gem today. I wandered in looking to fill some time on my lunch break and walked out with everything I needed to build a rod. When I went to pay for the components I was pleasantly surprised that the total was so reasonable. When I asked for obscure components, they were in stock and seemed to be at hand for all types of builds from fly and ultra light to big game. The highlight of my experience, by far, was the customer service I got from Colleen. She is an absolute wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with. Instead of sourcing components from online catalogs, give C & M a try. The stock, service, and value are all excellent. Plus they're a local family owned shop. I was very impressed and you will be too.
