“Great place to shop, factory stores and lots of retail brands. Food court with indoor and outdoor dining. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan to shop here as you may be doing a lot of walking. Nice amusement park next door which gets very busy on the weekends with long lines.”

“Nice Ride has AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ordered 4 times I always get fast delivery and extra stickers!! “Literally one of the best shops ever. Clothes are in great condition, reasonably priced and vintage. There are so many cute things to choose from. She’s got shoes, purses, coats, blouses, dresses, etc. The cherry on top is the owner is super helpful and kind. She really does know her stuff!!!!”
“Summer concerts in the park at Carmel Mountain Plaza are a relaxing and fun way to meet your neighbors. The band sets up on the sidewalk in front of Barnes and Noble. There is outside seating (tables/chairs/umbrellas/retaining wall) but many bring their own folding chairs or picnic blankets (for the grass). It's an enjoyable evening eating a picnic dinner, listening to the music and watching the sunset. Some are even moved to dance on the impromptu dance floor on the sidewalk.”

“This is hands down my favorite boutique! We found this place years ago and I stocked up on jeans before leaving the state. Every time we come back to town, we make a point to stop here! They have the cutest clothes and the jean selection is fantastic and affordable. My daughter was able to find the perfect cargo flare's and I helped myself to a few pair as well! The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the owner is adorable! Do yourself a favor and make this place a must when visiting OB!”

“I had an amazing experience here yesterday. I came in for wedding dress alterations and Sukhvir was the most kind, patient man who helped me with everything. Their rates are very reasonable. They have a huge selection of clothes, jewelry, and especially bangles. My fiance is also planning on coming in for his alterations as well. I couldn't recommend this place enough!”

It was a joy sifting through the vintage clothing as they were clearly well curated items. “I absolutely LOVE how soft the T-Shirts are and I own a couple of colors in both the women and men’s styles. The men’s shirts are perfect for a chic, loose fit style that you can tuck into pants or a skirt, and the women’s shirts are great for an everyday classic feminine look that you can pair with jeans or trousers. I recently purchased their Hayden denim pants which come in a straight leg vintage wash. Denim and jeans are tricky for curvy women with hips, but I found their Size 26 to be a dream fit for my curves. The length is perfect for short women under 5’4” since it sits right at the base of my ankles, but these jeans would also look great on taller women where the cut is cropped or bootcut. If I only had one pair of jeans in the world that I could wear, I would wear the Hayden’s everyday. They’re a durable weight, but also so versatile and easy for me to move in, dance in, cook in, and wear from morning to night. I absolutely love that Rowan’s clothes are all made in USA. When it comes to shopping, I value high quality, well tailored, pieces that I can wear throughout every season and occasion of life and Rowan’s pieces are that.You can really feel the care and attention on the make of their clothes and that’s also reflected in their customer service and brand values. Nick, at Rowan UTC, was so helpful and had a lot of knowledge on the fit, design, and brand story that I purchased some more t-shirts to pair with my Hayden’s. Casie, the manager, who was wearing a pair of Hayden’s, provided great feedback on the fit and also recommended sizes that would make my curves look great. I only wish that these jeans would come in more washes! But I look forward to shopping here again because of their exceptional, well-made classic pieces and awesome customer service. ?”
