I want to extol the extraordinary service we have received from the entire team at Sedano Lincoln in La Mesa, California. I have been driving every imaginable make and model of automobile for more than sixty years in this state, and I have NEVER experienced the kindness, patience, and courtesy extended to me that enabled me to continue to use and drive a perfectly functional and comfortable 2006 Mercury Mountaineer that I would have to have abandoned save for some amazing and marvelous helping hands, especially of Joe & Afonso in the service department.
But for their persistence and perseverance, my options (in the face of a burned out left brake light bulb) would have been limited to driving illegally and risking a highway patrol citation, or abandoning an otherwise perfectly wonderful vehicle with low mileage and every imaginable automotive feature--and having to resort to the purchase of a new car. You see, the problem I presented Afonso and Joe with was that the age of the vehicle had resulted in the complete unavailability of obtaining the discontinued part--a ten dollar light bulb--and hence the impossibility of rendering the repair. Believe it or not, a replacement was not to be found at any Ford dealer, auto parts store, or other motor vehicle parts supplier IN THE ENTIRE NATION. Moreover, automobile electrical shops I consulted unanimously advised me to donate the car to charity and buy a new vehicle! Bottom line: Everyone, except these two exceptional men at Sedano Ford/Lincoln here in San Diego County told me what I did not want to hear: For want of a light bulb, I simply had to bite the bullet, give my automobile away, buy a new vehicle, and move on. But Joe & Afonso went way above and beyond anything expected or reasonable, refused to give up, spent enormous effort and time, and, ultimately, found a way to get my tail assembly repaired, and I am currently still driving (and enjoying) a perfectly good auto, all at a cost of $117 in total--despite the fact that they devoted three separate service calls and a huge and boundless amount of effort, all complete with a smile and a handshake! I am one VERY SATISFIED and appreciative customer of Sedano Lincoln and forever indebted to the SERVICE, COURTESY, and GRACIOUSNESS OF Joe & Afonso!

Larry was great. Got me taken care of quickly and comfortably. Found something wrong with the car and fixed it under warranty same day. Very reasonably priced service. I will definitely come back here again

My Lincoln is a beautiful car but the staff is very poor at doing their job. When I purchased my Lincoln, I had a good quote from Navy Federal lined up. The loan officer insisted he could find me a better rate. After I stated I’d rather not have my credit ran a bunch he proceeded to run it SEVEN TIMES to other credit lenders. Barry Alves has told me weeks ago he was getting to the bottom of it, only to now be ignored and sent to voicemail.

I had a recall repair. My brake line broke, thank GOD I wasn’t on the freeway. I asked about other work and the salesman seemed disinterested, but told me that my rear brakes were paper thin. I said no (I’m not paying dealership prices for something I can do myself). 8 months of kicking the can and breaking lightly, I have the rear rim repaired in Tijuana and asked to change the brakes, and when they take the tire off the brakes are 1/2” thick! The dealership lied! Also, they said they didn’t have a loaner, which I’m glad or they would’ve done the other work and lied about that. I saw a nice seating area, but I was made to stand outside to wait on the Uber (I was quiet and smiling as usually so why—except maybe not to have others see my type in a Lincoln dealership? I hope not). Again, when I ride my motorcycle there to bring my keys told to stand outside in the sun, then again when waiting to get the car I’m told yet again to stand out front by myself like a bum. I was dressed well, was it because I’m brown? What else could’ve caused the treatment?! I got the impression that the salesman assumed I didn’t have enough money to entertain my conversation concerning the other needed repairs that I asked for and he or the mechanic decided to just go after the brakes. Otherwise, why refuse to offer me to sit in the lounge and tell me to wait outside all three times? None of those times they had a loaner for the other work I needed, or so I was told! So the automatic parking feature needed repairs but who can fix that except the dealer and if they’re willing to lie to me about brakes then how can I trust them anywhere around my car?! 2 stars instead of one because Ford Corporation did pay the Uber and for the brake line and require they do it correctly, but it did break!

Sedano Lincoln texted me a vehicle update that went into a spam folder. We cleared up the communication errors and agreed a phone call would also be a good idea. In any event the staff were very helpful and supportive. It was nice to be able to discuss my concerns and be heard. I am very happy to work with Sedano Lincoln

I purchased a preowned vehicle online from Sedano Lincoln. I am in Texas and found the vehicle on a few of the used car sites on the net. When I called to get some assistance, I very was fortunate to have John Zimmerman help me with the purchase. He described the vehicle in accurate detail, took additional photos for me to see, and did a great job balancing between staying in touch and not being pushy. He always got back to me promptly, and fully answered any questions I had. Sedano Lincoln was open to having a prepurchase inspection done and worked with me on the price. When I decided to purchase the vehicle, they set up the delivery to Texas in a timely fashion and at a reasonable cost. Purchasing a car over a distance when you cannot see it is always concerning, but John and the fine folks at Sedano Lincoln always felt open and honest about the entire process, and I felt comfortable buying the car. When I received the vehicle, it was exactly as they described and better than I imagined.
Paperwork is always tricky especially buying out of state, and the financial and title challenges were handled with ease and complete competence by Travis Andersen. Travis, like John, did a great job staying in touch and handling any questions I had. He even called the DMV in Texas to make sure all was in order and when I went to transfer the title and register the car, Travis had supplied everything I needed for the transaction to go smoothly.
My experience with Sedano Lincoln was overwhelmingly positive, and I highly recommend them for any vehicle purchase. Everyone there seemed honest, helpful, and friendly and they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with their service. A great car buying experience, thank you John, Travis, and Sedano Lincoln.

Afonso, my service advisor, was surprised that my visit for the rear-camera recall was labeled as "waiter", which I requested when I made my appointment.
He said these types of appointments are usually drop off or loaner-types. He said it may take 3 hours or longer and also said he'd do his best to complete it earlier.
Less than 2 hours later, it was done.
In addition to that fantastic service, I got to my sparkling -clean car, inside and out.
Superb service with kind, friendly, extremely efficient team members.

I rarely leave 5-star reviews these days because 5-star service is hard to come by these days but I want to acknowledge Victor (Service Manager) for making things right without any arguing or confrontation.
Bit of a backstory. My wife had been calling Lincoln Concierge service at Sedano (Trish) over the course of 2 months. Ironically, each time she called she never answered by my wife routinely left VM's that were never returned.
As a result, I ended up giving Lincoln Sedano a call and was able to sync up with the Service Manager (Victor) who within a few days arranged to get my vehicle picked up, fix multiple issues we were having with our Navigator Black Label, and get the vehicle back in record time to allow my wife to drive from SoCal to Oregon with all of the items addressed before a 2-day road trip.
While I can't say I had that great of experience with Trish at Concierge, I can say that Victor and his service team went above and beyond to address my concerns.
