Our family LOVES Wee Care! Our oldest daughter attended Wee Care from 1.5 to almost 5yo, including through the pandemic. We absolutely have loved and trusted all of the staff and Diane, the owner. So much so, that we previously did not live very close to Wee Care, but then chose to buy our house nearby so that our older could keep attending and so that our younger could start. Our youngest started as soon as she turned 2, is almost 3.5 and will be there until TK next fall. She often comes home saying how much she loves school, and which teacher is her favorite, etc. etc. Our older daughter is still friends with kids from there, even though they are now at different schools, and she loves dropping off her sister as she can give her old teachers hugs. Our oldest daughter was much more prepared than her peers when entering TK (although I am sure some were never in a preschool setting), so alongside the 'play' based learning that they all love, they are also getting prepared for school. They are great about sending home report cards the first weeks you start, and during potty training, as well as texting photos especially when they get a boo-boo at school. Oh and did I mention they practically potty train your kids for you?!?! Both of our daughters were potty trained at school first and then had super easy single weekend potty training at home bc they already had so much practice at school.Another reason we have always loved Wee Care are the unbeatable hours, making it great for parents with early or later working hours, as many are only open 9-5. Also, I am not a 'pack a lunch mom' so it is great you only need to send them in with diapers and wipes!!

After 6 years (2 kids) at Wee Care we say with high certainty that this is a solid childcare/preschool.Things we like:1. Staff is great. We've had a number of teachers as our kids have progressed through the age groups and we haven't had one that we haven't liked.2. Director (Diane) is a great communicator and generally runs a tight ship.3. Lunch is included. Thank goodness; one less worry in the crazy morning.4. Excellent hours and schedule. Something like 6:30AM to 6:00PM daily with only a handful of holidays unlike many other preschools where the hours are unfriendly to working parents and preschool is out for extended periods during the holidays.5. Reasonable prices (although some increases lately but i don't mind the staff getting raises and cost of living adjustments). Still a pretty good deal.Things that could improve:Not gonna sugar coat it, but the location behind a strip mall was a little off-putting at first until "we got over ourselves". It's about the kids, not how fancy the facilities look. Our kids liked it there and never complained; both fully prepared for kinder socially and academically. They are fully accredited and certified, staff is great, turnover is low; these are what's really important.

With two kids and both me and my wife working full time - I have a lot of experience with Preschools and Daycares, and WeeCare consistently has provided top tier education and service at an incredible price point.I am consistently amazed by the things my son learns and brings back each day: he loves the alphabet, learning, and will know the proper names of animals that even I have trouble remembering. My daughter was in a different WeeCare years ago, but I was likewise always impressed by the things she was learning and the skills she gained here - it certainly gave her a huge leg up when she joined Elementary.WeeCare in Rancho Bernardo (now a different company) was my first preschool, so I didn't realize what I had until they left, and I went through several other schools trying to find the quality that I originally had.The biggest factor (in my opinion) is that both had the excellent guidance of Preschool Director Diane Martine. She has always been responsive, helpful, and I think she does a great job picking the best teachers for the kids. She was also very helpful and understanding during the time when my son was lagging a bit on potty training, and helped to catch him up with the wonderful teachers she has employed. Big shout out to all the incredible teachers who are patient, always on top of informing us if there is owies, or things to help our kids grow and learn, and are always available and responsive to our questions.Thank you WeeCare - it's tough being a parent right now, and it's a HUGE worry off of our shoulders to know our kids are being taken care of.

It is more affordable than other day cares in San Diego. They also have more availability than other day cares. My daughter loved going to Wee Care! She had so much fun and made so many friends. She enjoyed going to Wee Care and loved her teachers and teachers assistants. Whenever an issue was raised, the staff was quick to resolve it. My daughter is in Kindergarten now, but she always remembers this school and talks about wanting to come back for a visit. Thank you Wee Care for nurturing growing minds.

Rude manager. Teachers always look unhappy and super annoyed at the children. Pulled my kid out after a month.

If I could give ten stars for Wee Care, I would. My daughter has been going to Wee Care for over two years and we couldn't be happier. Everything from the exceptional teachers, the cleanliness of the building, the communication from the Director and especially the lessons are top notch. My daughter wakes up every morning excited to go to school and has really flourished while at Wee Care. You can definitely tell that the teachers love what they do and take excellent care of the children. I highly recommend Wee Care, you will not be disappointed.

Great facilities, awesome teachers & staff with lots of experience who really care. My son's been going since he was 18mo, he's 3.5years now, and has been so happy and learned so much here. I can't recommend Wee Care enough!

We love WEE CARE! The facility is nice and clean. We love that they provide their meals. Our son loves his teachers and looks forward to going to school. The new director seems very sweet and we've always had positive interactions with her. Definitely recommend!

***Reply to the response:
To the untrained eye all is well. These parents have no experience or education to see the things I see daily. My years of being a preschool teacher has taught me what to keep an eye out for. My plan was to wait for tk to begin before removing my son, but since I complained about the unprofessional, uneducated staff, missing jacket and lost sunscreen, you have kicked my son out of your school. If I had the time to remove my son, I would today, but since I have to find a school that has space, take the time to tour it and then allow the process of CDA to change schools, I cannot remove him right away. I believe my son and I have been treated unfairly for many reasons and because of this my son will find a much better school that he can be cared for and can actually learn something!***
Not the best experience when dealing with staff. There seems to be a lack of nurturing, care and proper discipline for the children. Teachers are always yelling and barking orders at the children. When children are hurt there’s no nurture, when children do something wrong the punishment does not fit the act and there’s also double punishment. As a former experienced preschool teacher who has been properly educated, it seems that not only are the staff not educated but not suited for preschool all together. I also feel that my son isn’t learning anything. I have always had my son ahead of his classmates, now I feel he’s behind. There’s no learning just art daily! there are older staff who seemed to be short with the children, and yell. I even heard an older staff yell and chastise a child calling him a “bad boy.” The teachers always seemed frustrated and over it at drop off in the morning. When children are hurt, there is no love, care or concern. All the staff need to be replaced and should not work in preschool! A complete overhaul in staff is necessary! Do not send your child here!!
Update!!
After complaining that my son’s jacket is still missing and probably taken home, and my sons Aveeno sunscreen is missing, my son gets a notice to relieve my son from this horrible school! They also charge parents a flat rate of $10 to apply sunscreen! As a former preschool teacher, we applied sunscreen everyday in the afternoon as a part of our job! The director is so unprofessional to add to the even more unprofessional staff! This unclean, unprofessional school should be shut down!

For about 4 years now we’ve had our 3 sons begin their scholastic journey at Wee Care at the Clairemont location in San Diego. Our oldest who was a very shy boy has grown into a confident kid who is at the top of his class now. Our second is a very friendly goofball who has a kind heart who smiles 99% of the time. Our youngest is a wild kid who shows so much independence in everything he does. Although all of our kids are different we feel that Wee Care had so much to do with helping them become who they are today! All of the staff here is great, patient, kind, but more importantly they are firm in everything they do. They offer a magnificent lesson plan through out the year and offer so many different programs from dance to sports and we highly recommend you take advantage.
From the bottom of our hearts thank you Diane, Mrs. Monica, Ms. Jenny, Ms. Mica, Mrs. Carey and to everyone at the campus!

WeeCare has been wonderful. Our concerns were to find a pre-school that not only offered a safe and caring environment, but one that also added some structure to help with our girl’s scheduling. We found it all here. Special thanks to Diane and her staff for making pre-school at WeeCare a great experience.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! My daughter went here for about a year and all I have had is stress and more stress from these people and their so called " program ". I have shown up and have caught one of the the teachers screaming at my child, she has come home with bite marks on her, i had nothing but negative things being said about my daughter 24-7, not to mention I was getting phone calls while I was at work all the time for minor things that they could not handle. The kids don't ever stay in a consistent class room and are always flip flopping to different teachers, not one teacher is on the same page in how to handle or discipline a child. If its a " program " than tell me why there is no guidelines on how your suppose to handle a certain situation? The playground is nothing but disgusting old sand and she would come home everyday with sand all over her, and her clothes destroyed. They feed nothing but pure sugar to these kids and than freak out when the class is bouncing off the wall. The director of the school is rude, and from what I have been told by the teachers doesn't provide them with a pleasant work environment which then I feel gets taken out on the kids. Ever since I have removed her from this crap of a school I have had nothing but good come out of my kid. I would NEVER recommend this place for anyone to take their kid or kids to.
For the record, and in response to the owner below, my child was not kicked out of this school. I removed her because this school failed to provide her any form of consistency. In fact, I am friends with many former employees from this time period that my child attended and they quit this hostile work environment and wen't to seek employment elsewhere. When the only form of constancy is at home, how do they expect to get consistent good behavior at school?
Maybe if the owner spent more time focusing on making her staff happy, as well as the children who attend happy, and not sitting responding to the poor ratings with false information, it would be a better place.

This is the most amazing preschool! They have wonderful teachers, and staff, and they really take great care of your child. We have been attending Wee Care for a little over a year, and my daughter can't wait to get to school. Mrs Bonnie is the best EVERRR hands down. I am sad that we will be moving on to Kindergarden soon, becuase this truly is an amazing place of your child to learn, play, and have fun.

We recently moved and needed to switch daycares. Our 19 month-old liked her old daycare and we had a lot of anxiety about switching her to a different one. It's very nerve-wracking to leave your pride and joy with someone else for 8-10 hours a day. Well after the first day, we noticed our daughter was even happier then she was at her old daycare. She loves this place! She kicks her feet in excitement when we pull up each morning and runs to Miss Cherry so thrilled to see her! The only problem is when we pick her up; she doesn’t want to leave! She instead, wants to show us around and show us all the projects, paintings and drawings she did that day! We love this place!
