There are some nice people who work here but they are woefully understaffed. Right now, I’m sitting in drive up pharmacy line I’ve been in for 20 min. It’s a total crap shoot if they will have my medications filled. They run out of routine meds often and my doctor usually has to send prescriptions a couple times. Walgreens needs to pay better so they can keep staff!!! Here’s the car in front of me…what is happening up there?!?!

Amaaaaaazingly helpful pharmacist. Had just gotten a pneumonia diagnosis - urgently needed to transfer an RX from Rite Aid and Walgreen’s pulled it off in the last 45 minutes of the day! I had called 3 CVS’s and couldn’t even get a human being on the phone - went to a store in person and they told me it would take 2-3 days.
Walgreen’s not only answered the phone but updated my insurance information and called Rite Aid immediately. When I got to the store 15 minutes before closing, the pharmacist assured me that if it didn’t go through in time, he would make sure it was the first one to be filled in the morning.
They checked me out, drugs in hand, at one minute after closing time. Unbelievable! I’m not so sad about losing Rite Aid anymore. I was going to switch to CVS but the hell with that!

I love the pharmacists especially Cherish, Helen and Katrine. I would give them each a 5 star rating.
But the wait times to get through the phone lines is ridiculous. Please hire more people to answer phones! Especially with me and all the new RiteAid customers who transferred our scripts over to Walgreens.
Tonite I called almost half an hour before closing and couldn‘t get through. Then the male tech finally came on the line 4 minutes before closing and told me i can’t talk to pharmacist and call tomorrow morning which is inconvenient for me.

The workers here are always so nice! My husband and I came in for our passport photos and Rose helped me out and was so patient and helpful even being the only one behind the photo counter helping me and another (rude and impatient) couple. My husband went back to print out photos for our album and I’m not sure if it was Rose or another lady that works there but he said there was a man and lady that remembered me from last time and that they were very friendly and happy to help. Thank you for being amazing people and these 5 stars are for you guys!!

Worst pharmacy in San Diego. I had to have my son make the call because I am blind and the pharmacy tech was rude to my son and hung up the phone after he had been on hold for 15 min. Unprofessional and angry woman who needs to find another line of work. If this happens to you, call corporate and complain. Let these people get fired as everything is being recorded. This is what you need to do nowadays to make sure you're not mistreated, especially the elderly. I will not be ABUSED by some ignorant and socially inept pharmacy tech. Get their name and report them. There needs to be consequences.

I brought a prescription here to get it filled on Thursday. I decided to wait for it. While I’m waiting, there is an issue with them not being able to read the doctor’s handwriting (bizarre because I could), delaying them filling the prescription. They don’t even inform me of this until I walk up to the desk and ask how much longer it will be. At this point, I tell them I will come back later that evening for the prescription. I go back today, Friday, and the prescription still has not been filled even though the doctor had called them back. They fill it for me on the spot. I go to buy some Gatorade and find that they’re selling expired products. I tell one of the workers and he says it’s not my fault, I don’t stock the shelves, as if I was blaming him for the issue. Totally unprofessional, as he didn’t even try to fix the issue. I will not be coming back here.

The WORST pharmacy experience!! Had a prescription called in for 6 pills. 6 PILLS! At 1:00pm was told 45 minutes. I went home. Came back 4 1/2 hours later, was told "Not ready, another 20 minutes". Half our later, still waiting! 6 PILLS!!

Their photo and printing center is total nonsense. Even their employees said this. Quality and tech - go somewhere else.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY unless you like to go back multiple times to fill one prescription. Its happened to me many times and today I have finally had it and will change pharmacies.I auto filled with my phone and the automated system said pick up at 1 pm the following day and goes what?...Of course it wasn't ready, they said they needed more time to fill so I came back at 6pm and still not filled they said if I could wait a half an hour they would have it.I said I would just pick it up the next day and guess what?Of course it wasn't ready!!!! This has happened to many times I am fed up with Walgreens THEY SUCK!!!

I had an excellent experience at Walgreens today thanks to the impressive performance of Liubov. Her ability to multitask and juggle a phone call, a drive-thru customer and myself at the same time with ease and efficiency was simply jaw-dropping. Not only she ensured that each customer was attended to properly, but she also maintained a courteous and professional service throughout. I left the store totally satisfied and still in admiration for her dedication to excellent customer service. Kudos to such unsung heroes of healthcare and their superlative service to the citizens!!

This is a shout out to Maria in the pharmacy. I have to use a name brand med due to the fact I can't take the generic. My insurance wasn't going thru and I was in tears. The med is $400/month, which I can't afford. Maria stood there for 20 minutes using different discount cards to get the price down. When that didn't help, she went and talked to another employee who finally got the insurance to go thru so I only have to pay $70/month. Maria stayed calm and caring and I don't know what I would have done without her. Thank you Maria! You are amazing!

Worst service ever. I called several times to speak to a pharmacist assistant regarding my prescription and was on hold for at least 20 minutes each time until I would just hang up. I've decided to go to a different pharmacy. ?
