Worst pharmacy I've ever used. Every time I have tried to get a prescription filled there is some kind of problem, they don't have it in stock or they are waiting for prescriber approval, etc. Good thing I don't have a critical illness and need drugs on time!

Was on vacation in San Diego and staying a block away in Hillcrest and happened to need some allergy meds (who knew allergies would follow me from Nashville to CA!?!) and so we swung in this Walgreens. I was after the basic allergy meds plus a cough/decongestant and to my surprise they were wiped out of meds of this variety. The shelves looked like they had just been ransacked and unfortunately there was no alternative or additional stock available per the staff. The staff was apologetic and tried to help me figure out an alternative, but again they did not have anything beyond pain relievers, so off to another location I went. I will say that the store was a bit disheveled and worn down. Could certainly use some sprucing up conditionally and some deep cleaning...

I spent more than an hour trying to get my prescription. In this time, they kept trying to give me another person's medication that had the same last name. I repeatedly told them my full name and they did the SAME mistake 2-3 times. Not once did they ask to verify any detail of the prescription or account before handing me over a bag that wasn't mine. I mean, giving me details regarding someone else's prescription (with name) is clearly a HIIPA violation.

The store in Hillcrest used to be my choice for a pharmacy until the pandemic. Now it's a poor excuse for a business. Long waits, wrong medications, frequently out of prescribed drugs. I have no love for the CVS in Hillcrest but it's better (though not cleaner) than Walgreens. So unfortunate.

Before heading to the pharmacy I went online for hours to make sure this isnt one of the Walgreens where they close the pharmacy for lunch. But when I arrived they were closed and there was no sign. Other staff says they have been closing for lunch for a while. Can't they even update their information. Inexcusable.

sunday, july 17th. 11.30am. just off the phone with the so called "pharmacist" of 301 university in hillcrest. WOW!! he was sooooo rude! never have i ever been treated so poorly at this pharmacy. the man spoke so quickly and spoke over me. he definitely was frazzled and razzed more than likely due to short staff (which he did not hesitate to tell me) and he had to answer the phone (awh, poor pharmacist!!). i did not mind holding (typical for this store). good employees are hard to find these days! lol. i finally was able to get my rx's 'refilled'. i had some questions about the refills and his retort was 'i am only the messenger'!! who says that to a customer!!! who hired this guy!?!??! needs uptraining on customer service skills or he needs to take a tranquilizer.

I would like to say that my experience at Walgreens last night was very welcoming and the employee by the name of Cirillo has gotten a 5 star rating from me, because he has excellent people skills and great customer service skills. I would definitely visit that story again. I was feeling his vibe and he has great energy radiating off of him. God Bless him and he definitely is the employee of the month in my book.

The management is very rude and unprofessional, their employee threatened myself and my wife with a knife in the parking lot while the coworkers just laughed so that goes to show what these people who work here are like and the reason I went off on him was because he was staring at a barely legal girl and he's like 40 so I called him out for being a ped****** because he is and he couldn't take the heat like a man so this is the result. Basically if you correct anyones behavior at this establishment it will be met with threats for your life. I'm suing !

So far, I'm unimpressed. After waiting on hold for 25 minutes yesterday (until the point at which I was cut off), I went into the store to have my prescription filled. After getting tired of waiting for it to be prepared, I left and planned on coming back the following day. The following day, I came back and was told that my prescription was still not ready and that there would be a wait time of 30 to 40 minutes. I left. I am hoping to pick up my prescription tomorrow. I'm tired of excuses. Where is the service? Doesn't seem like they're even trying.

I called this location to confirm they had COVID testing kits, spoke with a gentleman who said they did and agreed to place one to the side for me, as I was 15 minutes away. Upon arrival, the manager stated he didn't know who would tell me that because they don't have any. He didn't offer a time frame or resolution to the problem, including making any attempt to identify the source. The woman in front of me in line was explaining a similar issue regarding poor customer service from someone else in the phone. Walgreens, please get it together.

I am sitting in their parking lot snd am livid! I have a prescribed monthly medication from my specialist and the pharmacist refused to dispense it, stating he had to talk with dr first. This was not a controlled substance & I've been picking this up from a different Walgreens for a number of years, just not at this location. It's been in their system all this time, which he stated was not the case. If that were so he wouldn't have been able to fill from their computer when I called for a refill, & I explained that to him. Since when is a pharmacist able to override a monthly medication prescribed by a specialist that Is in their system that shows it being dispersed on a monthly basis?? This was insane & I will Never return here. Oh, & this was after waiting in a very long line. The gentleman at the counter was awesome tho!

Do not go here for your vaccination if you're expecting to be serviced on time. Showed up on time with all my forms filled out, insurance card and ID ready. Waited over an hour to receive my booster - no updates from the staff, no estimated wait time. Had to keep coming up to the counter to ask, in total it took 1.5 hours of my day. Terrible.

Very poor service. The pharmacy was far behind on filling prescriptions and had the line backed up. Several customers in front of me waited excessive amounts of time. That would have been okay if the young man at the front desk and the pharmacist hadn't been rude. My scheduled appointment was not present on their sheet of paper, but I did have the email confirmation. The front worker and the pharmacist both had an attitude and were rude as the issue was resolved. Would use any other pharmacy close by before going back to this particular Walgreens.

If you want to find easiest place to get travel vaccines, look no further. Pharmacist Irene C. is kind and thorough in her exclamations on the phone and in person. Kenton at the counter was jovial and helpful, wanted me to be able to do all of my shopping while also paying for my vaccines.
