Today I called the pharmacy for checking my insurance coverage for vaccine. The guy told me he cannot do it til I make an appointment. He was just SOOOOO lazy for helping me check the insurance. I bet he will only do it when he really has to do it.

Do not come here for your vaccinations. We had an appointment and have been waiting for over an hour to get a flu shot for my mom. While waiting, I noticed only two people were served. It takes over 30 minutes to give a person a shot? We are from the Bay Area where they accept walk-ins (they don't do that here) and this would have taken us 15 minutes there.

My dentist called 24 hours ago to arrange a prescription for some pain medication post wisdom tooth removal. Up until now, my prescription status is "still processing" per the automated system. I've called ten times since yesterday and keep getting the same response. When we try to talk to a live person, they keep putting us on hold.This is a ridiculous excuse of a pharmacy as this is not the first time that I've had to deal with monkey business at that location. Please close down and get out of Mira Mesa. You are useless. Thanks for nothing.

You can no longer walk in and make an appointment for a flu and or covid immunization, they want you to do that online. If that wasn't the case I would give them 3 stars. Anyway, I have switched to different neighborhood pharmacy.

Chronically understaffed in the pharmacy. Always long waits. I have given them multiple tries and would prefer to use this location as it's close to my house and has a drive through. Recently Covid positive, I tried to use the drive through but they made me come in to the store. Then wait in the line twice for ten min or more. Granted I had a mask on but come on- if someone is picking up their Covid medication wouldn't you at least try to keep them away from everyone else and minimize their time inside the store. Here I am trying to stay well away from everyone.

This pharmacy deserves more than 5 stars! I had exceptionally great assistance from Erica today. !!! Her attention to detail, dedication to assisting with my RX need, and friendly and kind help are all so appreciated. She is the ultimate professional. I recommend this pharmacy very highly.

There is no point of taking appointment. pharmacies lady was so rude. The one with short hair.I went to window after 40 minutes waiting for them bcz I was told someone will call me for a vaccine shot from the lobby area. The lady gave me look and told I need to help this long line. when she came to give me flu shot she was so mad did not talk to me a single word or not looked at me. There was anger vibes. just for formality applied the bandage which was not at the right spot. If they are too frustrated and overloaded with work then why are they even giving the spot to book online. I also visited yesterday for walk in but I was told it will take an hour so book online. After booking online I have to wait 45 minutes what’s the point of appointment.

I just had oral surgery. I use this place for maintenance prescriptions. But this time - needed scripts filled right away - antibiotics, pain meds and mouth rinse - we are having to wait 3 hours for. Terrible! When the chips are down - there is no responsive service. Shame on you! I will be changing to a different pharmacy. These "medical professionals" JUST DONT CARE. Do not go here.When calling this pharmacy, if you ask to speak with someone, you are put on hold. While waiting for someone to pick up and help you, you will hear the phone line get answered and then it gets put right back on hold. 3 times that happened over 5 minutes.

This Walgreens is hidden in the cluster of Jollibee and 99 Cent type stores that are nearby. It almost seems as an afterthought in an otherwise inspired area. The Mira Mesa Mall is nearby and has undergone considerable improvements recently to make it more customer-friendly. Then you have Walgreens, which seems more convenient to homeless traffic than anything else.Location aside, this store is a normal full-service Walgreens. The first thing you will notice is that the shelves are extremely tall...so if you're claustrophobic, or about 5' tall like most of Mira Mesa, then this could be a problem.One thing that i really liked about this store is that there are little push buttons located sporadically around the store that you can activate if you need help in an aisle. They aren't called out really well like Target, but they can be helpful if you're stuck and need help. Think of them like a low budget Bat Signal.Today my visit was for the pharmacy and I had no trouble at all filling my order for insurance covered Covid tests. The pharmacist even told me that I was covered for 8 free tests per month! The transaction was super quick and easy and I was on my way within 10 minutes.Thank you Walgreens for helping me!
