The sushi department here has some of the best sushi I’ve eaten in a long while.. It was 5$ sushi even, and I am very happy! Kudos to the chef!

Shop there a lot, buy loto tickets there. When I try to get cash in my winning tickets thy are very un friendly an I have to wait for ever. No more Vons for me.

Let me just say I am appalled by the security guy that was working the door I came to buy ice cream at 11:50 they close at 12:00 I could see people still shopping and he would not let me in the door because he said they were closed even though it was not their closing time yet and people were still getting their groceries and all I wanted was one item and he would not let me in the door I live in Imperial Beach I'm a regular at the store but I can tell you after this experience I won't shop here again.
Also I asked him to ask his manager to see if it was okay and he just shook his head no and then I told him I wanted to speak to the manager and he still told me no I don't understand why he was being so rude to me but it completely ruined my night it was so unnecessary an intentional

I shop here often for fruits and vegetables. Homeless people can be a challenge for store security.
Overall, it's a nice grocery store that does the best it can give the area.

If you're going to have a self checkout and the guards are going to check the receipts. Make sure you put that on the checkout register. Because I got harassed by the short Hispanic security guard when he should be inside looking for people that are actually stealing stuff not the people that are actually buying stuff.

This vons is ok. I come for the habanero mango chicken they serve in the deli. The Vons in Coronado has the best. Updated review. I'm not sure why I like this one's the least of the ones I frequent. They're habanero mango chicken used to be great but now it's not.

Good store most employees are awesome except they have a demented Hispanic male security guard there on Friday evenings who rudely asked to see my receipt when I paid in a check stand line that had a cashier. Also he harassed me on this particular night when I didn't know the western union was not working and had the audacity to rudely ask why was I at the desk and I told him and he rudely questioned your here for western union and he goes no your not and he's putting his hand on his gun like he wants to pull it out. Called and asked store employees for security company information and they refused to tell me or said they couldn't find out smh

This store is a joke. Way to high priced. To tip it off no bags in the store. When asked for them the self check out person was rude . wish I had not paid up for my stuff. I will not ever shop here again.

It's hit and miss with Vons. Sometimes is very crowded and the cashiers don't seem to notice the long lines, they just keep chitchatting with everyone. Sometimes you can check out super fast.The addition of self checkout machines has been great in terms of time spent in lines.Still the same. Same. No changes.

Holy Karens abound at this place! Unfortunately, they are ALL employees there. Customer service is not part of their training. Just walked out when an elderly gentleman asked for assistance and was told she didn't have time. When he asked when he could get it, her response was "probably like three hours." Left my cart and walked out.
