Erick R. Went above and beyond to get my pick up order ready even though they were busy with alot of orders. I work in UTC and live in Imperial Beach, I choose this store because of variety, cleanliness. Thank you Erick R for your excellent customer service and assistance. I'm a manager and customer service is key to me.

I use drive up and go a lot at this location. Super grateful they put in extra pick up parking spaces today all of them were full with only 1 person waiting for an order. Mohammed was out there asking folks to move that didn't belong in the spots. He was super friendly and delivered my order really quick! Appreciate the customer service Mohammed!

Love the produce there but it’s over priced and I hate the fact they put things behind cases, it’s ridiculous .

No humans at the register only automated payment at the time Uneasy there. I don't appreciate that choice forced upon me. The problem is that if the checkout process goes smoothly, then it is great but if you get stuck, i.e. scale fails to register a scanned item or a plethora of other issues, you are to the mercy of one person to come to the rescue; providing that person is not multitasking helping someone else at the store (with obviously for the sake of increasing productivity, will be the case). Extremely expensive supermarket. I would shop there only if I had no choice, but I would avoid it as much as possible.

I really like this Vons it's well staffed and have helpful employees there. I especially have to give a shout out to Leslie, Sabrina and Ken there customer service is amazing. I do recommend this Vons to others.........

Had an extremely frustrating experience with the bakery manager, Angela. My husband and I came in to order a smash cake and a sheet cake for my son's first birthday. My husband had talked to this woman on the phone previously and explained that we knew what we wanted in general but were not sure if they were capable of doing it and that he needed to discuss with me before placing the order. We decided to go in. We approached the counter and waited for her acknowledgement. After a few mins, she turned to us and snarkily said, "can I help you?" My husband started to ask if they would be able to do what we wanted. She must have remembered the previous conversation on the phone because she said, "oh you're ____ right?" We start telling her that we want a small smash cake with smiley faces all over. She asks us what time we want to pick up and before we answer she is already writing down 1:00 PM. She is huffing and puffing and sighing at every single thing we say. We asked if 9 AM would work and she is sighing loudly and walks to the back to check. She comes back and rudely says, "9 doesnt work she has 4 pick ups at that time and she is 1 person" I interject because I am now extremely frustrated at how she has been talking to my husband. I say, "okay we can do 10, 11, 12, we are open it doesnt have to be 9 am." She scoffs and says we can do 10. Then we start to order our sheet cake. We asked if they could do a cake that was half checker print, and half white. Immediately she says no. My husband then asks if she can make a cake that is half white and half black. She is now sarcastically giggling, shaking her head, and sighing. I have kept quiet because I am getting extremely frustrated. I told her that if she cannot do it, we can just go elsewhere. She says, "No I'm just trying to understand what you are wanting." My husband shows a picture of a split cake that is half red and half black and asks if she can do a cake like that that is half white and half black since they cannot do checkers and she scoffs again and says, "we cant do that I mean you want 2 flavors and 2 colors, it just doesnt make sense." At this point I told her to go ahead and just cancel the order and let my husband know that I was extremely frustrated with her rude behavior. I let a worker by the registers know about this experience as well. I went to Von's by walmart and had no problem at all. They took my order and with my checker print and white cake and said it was all perfectly doable. This lady must've been having a bad day or something, but her rude behavior towards my husband was extremely unacceptable and unwarranted. I would have been more understanding if we had started off rudely but that was definitely not the case.

I was shopping at the Vons in Clairemont and I saw a man outside of the roof and columns above the entrance. The man wasn't blocking the entrance and on the public sidewalk as he was collecting signatures but an employee quickly put up a sign explaining that the Clairemont Square doesn't give people permission to do so. I didn't know that anyone needed permission to do something the law let's them do.
I'm not going to shop at this location.

I had gone to my favorite vons on Governor and genesee on a mon. Night, simply to cash a cornstar ticket. The staff told me they don't have coinstar there. So, I went to the location on balboa, and tried to cash it there. I was informed, that I had to cash it the day of. It was only $2.19, but when the assistant manager asked the head manager, she was snotty to me, and said not in my store. Earlier this week, I went to return some hard baby belle cheeses to the clairemont Square location, andJoe, a young man with strawberry blonde hair, not only out the money back on my ebt card, but he cashed my cornstar receipt for me. Praise God! Money has been tight for me this month. Also, Ashley grooms is a hard worker. I babysat her, and junior, a stocker on the night shift is really nice. I enjoy talkingto him. My only complaintabout this vons is that the fish is not fresh. Thanks,
