My five stars is because of their great drive up and go program. With a newborn it's a pain in the butt to drag her out of the car to go grocery shopping, especially when she's sleeping. With the pickup program they come out to your car with your groceries. Travis or is it Trevor ( Sorry I don't fully remember his name) goes up and beyond to fulfill your order. For example, today he had the florest make a custom bouquet for me because they had sold out of what I selected on the app.

I'm a student at the highschool near this vons, I decided to get a chicken meal for lunch one time and I was nervous and lost since I had no idea how to get it (students have to purchase deli items differently), I went to the deli and asked the lady working their if I could have the chicken meal, she asked "how much (wings)" which I did not hear at all since she was wearing a mask and it was very loud around us, plus her accent mixed with the muffling from the mask made it very confusing. I politely asked her what she said, she repeated it a little louder, and I could tell from her tone she was irritated, but it was the same thing, I couldn't hear her at all. At this point I was just an awkward mess, I asked again and the lady dramatically pulls down her mask, gives me an eye roll, sighs and tells me AGAIN in a snarky tone. I'm sorry lady but it's not my fault I can't hear you in a crowded store full of other students. I finally got my chicken meal after a while and promptly never went back after that experience. Just because you work around kids all day, doesn't mean you are allowed to treat us like garbage, have some respect. And if you don't like working around those people then quit or just be polite, it's not hard.

Incredibly understaffed and you have to go from one side of the building through the courtyard to the other side just to pay for something.
Then if you have an issue at the self-checkout line often there's no one there to help you, so it's not only understaffed but a big waste of time.
P.S. Recently, they put in self checkout registers on the building on the other side of the courtyard that does not have any cashiers yet when I went today they were all closed.
Not to mention the hot Deli area was closed even before 5:00 p.m.

I don’t often write reviews but this is a health safety concern! I did share these images with the manager this morning and hope changes are made. I have noticed for the past couple of months that the milk section is incredibly dirty with old rotting spilled milk below the display shelves. I mentioned this to an employee about 1 month ago and clearly they never cleaned it up as evident when i visited today. Also, today all the orange bags and apples bags had mushy and rotten ones inside. The watermelons and melons were also in pretty rough shape. It’s disappointing to think this is the quality that Vons has come to.

Great location. , I found this Vons by chance and it definitely has the number one spot for the mango habanero chicken. Coronado is a close second.

This was the most organized and beautiful store I have ever been to. It's huge and packed with groceries, super clean. As I entered the store one of the managers was at the front door and greeting customers as they entered the store. The store smells so fresh and if you just name anything, you will be able to find it there. Very convenient location as well. This will be the go-to location from now on.

Great deli! Night guy, Steve, he's excellent! Knowledgeable, friendly, quite handsome, worth the trip just to talk to him. His fried chicken is the best!!
