I had to get my brakes fixed and he was awesome. He staid late to get the job done and had a very nice and polite personality. Also, a very trust worthy guy which can be tough to find when trying to get car work done. Highly recommend this place!

Vinh Phat is one of the most trustworthy mechanics in San Diego. I’m a female and have always worried who I can trust in the auto industry. Vinh told me exactly what was wrong with my car and fixed all my problems. He went above and beyond to replace my brakes and rotors. He is very kind, knowledgeable, honest, generous and does excellent work. He is also extremely quick with his work. He knows what he is doing and he knows how to treat his customers. I highly recommend his services! I will be going to him for all my auto needs in the future!

Over priced. I came here for a quote for an easy fix, he said $200. I went elsewhere and got a much better quote of $60. Really glad I didn't repair my car here... beware.

An honest mechanic! Vinh, the mechanic is professional & didn't overcharged for the work that he did for my car. He was upfront with the cost & he discussed the problems with my car. I don't trust the 1 star reviews from here. I think those that wrote negative reviews are those that try to steal customers from a honest, hardworking man. Shame on them!!

I had a terrible experience at Vinh Phat Auto Repair & Muffler. The staff were rude, my car sat there for over a week with no updates, and the issues weren't fully resolved. On top of that, they overcharged me without clear explanations. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money by going elsewhere.

This man doesn't know how to change oil. You shouldn't change the oil on it because it does its job very poorly. If you don't want to get your engine replaced, don't come here. He also does not admit his guilt, although he installed the oil filter incorrectly.

My gf’s car has a few issues and she always wanted to fix them but her work schedules didn’t allow her to do so during the week days. Sunday is the only available day and finally she got to do today!!
The shop owner was a true gentle man! He fixed front rotors, AC and did service on the front bumper!
Now AC is working great and no issues on vibrations when brake is applied!
Amazing auto place! Please come here and support their honest and great business!

Vinh is the man! I took my car to my local dealership recently because the check engine light came on. They quoted an outrageous amount to replace the needed part. I bought the part myself & Vinh installed it in under an hour, on the weekend no less, for a very fair price. Very friendly and helpful!
