i have been to many martial arts gyms. some good, some bad, most all are expensive. victory has been the best martials arts gym ive been, affordable price, unbeatable amenities, ring/cage/mats/crossfit and weights along with professional instruction. They keep it clean and the staff is always friendly. Anyone from a newbie to pro, someone looking to fight, learn martial arts, or just lift weights, cannot go wrong with victory

Can Victory bring an Open Air Gym concept to the gym? I know during the summer, the front door is open. However, during the winter, all the doors are closed. This causes the downstairs striking room to become very foggy/humid, and people are even writing drawings on the mirror. Its nice to draw, but hard on the lungs in the long run. I believe we have Two Doors near the downstairs boxing rings, and one large Window upstairs near BJJ. Is it possible to convert them to ADD Screen doors, and Openable windows? I've been here long enough to remember, the downstairs doors near boxing area used to be open (but were closed due to homeless and people trying to come in without checking in). Screen door might fix that problem. (Currently a 8 year member holder) I was on vacation last month, and was able to visit some gyms in Japan, Australia, and Thailand, with open garage doors. Its soo much easier to breathe, and allowed me to train longer.

Best gym in San Diego. Real deal world class training and fighters. Down to earth vibe. And amazing price per month.

Trained here for a year, primarily for BJJ but also took MMA, boxing, and Muay Thai classes. I've been doing BJJ since 2018 and have trained at a few places. I've never had a bad experience anywhere I've trained but each place has been very different. Here's what you get when you train here: highly qualified instructors, a low pressure and friendly training environment, and access to one of the best training facilities all around in San Diego at one of the best price points in San Diego. They don't care what gi you wear or what logo is on your shirt; they just want you to come in and train. Also, the business owner (Joe) is no BS and just trying to run a great gym! At least give them a shot for your free week or show up to Sunday open mat.

Manuel The Tick Huerta is a great trainer from beginner to advanced. He really takes his time to help you learn, great with scheduling and communication. This gym is a great gym to learn a lot

Their parking lot sucks. Wanted to try my first week and I never found parking lot at this place. It’s always so crowded. I was 20 min early for my class and the 20 min I was going around looking for a parking lot. The hotel is private and they don’t even have parking lot for this gym. At the gym they told me you can park anywhere around the gym.I tried and then a woman said this is not a parking lot for the gym, you can’t be here. So very disappointed and also the service at the front desk was not good, not helpful.

Awesome facility, excellent class structure, coaches who are generous with their knowledge and who also speak life into their team, and an overflow of hardworking individuals who come to get it on. Can’t wait to get back to SD.

Got kicked out twice, multiple employees told me to get the F out and not come back. I wasn't talking back Joe, respect is a two way street. I was washing floors and sinks without even telling anyone here. All of this just to get banned from a place I respected. Defeated MMA & Fitness.

Get in the ring! Today is the day that you concur your fears. This is the place to challenge yourself. Too busy? What if they don't have a class when I have time? This place has quality instructors with a completely packed daily schedule. I can't emphasize enough. Great atmosphere! Great instructors! And some quality people. You will beat yourself into shape and meet some friends along the way that will be happy to help, beat you into shape. I started here a year ago. Lost 35 lbs and am getting confident in my Muay Thai skills. I have a long way to go but I am enjoying every day that I train. Come join me on the mat, I am the older guy in the class who trains with anyone and everyone, so why not you. Let's have some fun.

Warning!! The free week does not apply to out of towners despite what the website and confirmation email say. They make you pay $20 for a day.The actual gym seems like a Jocko promotional. The ground floor is a giftshop selling "Discipline equals Freedom" shirts and the works while every inch of the wall is covered with "Home of the Jocko podcast" posters and paint.Don't get me wrong, I love Jocko. His gym just seems so anti-Jocko. His gym is the opposite of gritty and rugged. First mma gym I've been to with infrared saunas, an ice bath, and cryotherapy.I took the beginner no gi class and had a good time. The instructor, Bryan, was amazing. His class was very fun and informative! He framed things in a way that is going to change the trajectory of my BJJ journey for the better!

Excellent training facility for any level of fitness. The instructors adapt to your needs as a student. Whatever your goals are this place will get you to that point with your efforts. Very clean with updated equipment. In my humble opinion, this place is top shelf ! The most return on investment you can expect to earn.

This gym is one of my must visits when I go through San Diego! I have spent several years at this gym learning jui jitsu, and from the very first time I stepped onto the mats, they were nothing but quality. The instructors are knowledgeable and personable, the equipment is top notch, and the people who go to this gym are incredibly kind. I grew my jui jitsu in this gym, and now I have such an advantage where ever I go! If you are ever on the fence on whether to dive into a new sport, especially a combat sport, do yourself the favor and check out Victory!

Victory MMA & Fitness is everything I hoped it would be! Great facilities and the faculty was excellent. I was just visiting the gym from Texas and Brody (trainer) asked me if I was going to train this morning. I expressed to tell him that I would've loved to but I experienced an injury and couple weeks prior that would prevent me from doing so. He then inquired about the injury and asked if he could help. Brody explained to me his credentials and said he's seen my injury before. I enthusiastically accepted his offer. Big shout out to Brody! His expertise is much appreciated!

Great gym !! It's clean and has a lot of equipment for Strength ,conditioning and MMA. Always organized and the people are all super nice and helpful .Jacko (one of the owners) is an amazing patriot who put his life and the lives of his men on the line for our freedom many times . I thank our father in heaven for him and all those like him . His book Discipline equals Freedom is a book everyone should read .
