8340 Clairemont Mesa Blvd #202, San Diego“The 1 week course for Gaslamp Bartending school was rigorous, intense, and absolutely worth every penny. Nino and Joe don't just teach the mechanical in's and out's of making cocktails, but offer a framework of how to absorb information, and think efficiently. In the end, whether it be about upselling drinks to learning how to maintain a peaceful bar, it is about giving customers a pleasant experience, and getting what you deserve as a bartender. What's more, however, is that you are not just thrown out into the world after graduating having to build your own resume with what you have and land interviews in the same old way... After graduating, Nino spends hours just covering the best methods and strategies on how to land an interview, and set yourself apart from others. Also, he offers to give feedback on your tailored bartending resume to make it look professional, but at the same time fitting to where you want to work, and is willing to maintain long-term connections to follow along and help your journey in bartending. To say the least, I am extremely grateful and satisfied to have learned from the invaluable experience of both Nino and Joe, and am excited and hopeful to see what my brightened future in bartending has in store for me.Thank you Nino and Joe!”
“Well, on 3-9-24 we had an event at nova33 and I want to congratulate and thank everyone, especially together and our coordinator, thank you for helping us with everything, she was always attentive to our needs, blessings to all of you. “The Maritime Museum of SD was amazing. My 10 year old had so much fun. It took us 5 hours to walk trough all the ships and my son was never bored. It was an amazing experience. The tickets were 20 dll per adult and 10 per child. Not expensive at all. And when we were done I took my son to a very nice park infront of the museum. Beautiful boats, ships, submarine with a lot of history. I will defenitely return!”

3001 El Cajon Blvd Suite #2, San Diego“IT WAS LIT! ? ??????????I went here for my 31st bday and had an amazing time. Me and my husband plus my sister and brother. We shows up at 3pm and gad two hours to throw axes. It was sooo worth it bc we definitely needed the practice. They gave us 4 types of axes in increments through out the 2 hours. BIG BERTHA was the hardest for me.
Afterwards we went and enjoyed the rage room for about 15-30 minutes and it relieved a lot of steam for us. We laughed and laughed at eat other going hard with banging and breaking stuff”
“The local organist had a great sense of humour in addition to being an incredible musician. There was a technical issue with the organ but he adapted and improvised without missing a beat. Amazing that these concerts are free. Would have paid gladly to watch him!”
“This was the perfect venue for us and our 100 person wedding! It's beautiful and accommodating, and Chris is a wonderful person to work with! Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful ocean view.”
9AM - 5PM
1040 7th Ave, San Diego“My spouse and I got married in May 2024 and cannot recommend Flora enough! We got so many compliments on the venue. It's beautiful, unique, and super customizable. We had about 95 guests and it was the perfect size- it felt intimate yet spacious, and we loved that everything was in one central space. We specifically wanted a venue that already looked beautiful to minimize how many decorations we needed, and truthfully could have had nothing and the space still would have still looked incredible! Katherine, Jade, Jameson, and Amanda went above and beyond to help plan a great event. They were all organized and responsive, which made us feel so taken care of. We truly felt like a priority at Flora. Regular check in's helped us stay on track and took a lot off our plate, which we appreciated so much because of how stressful wedding planning already can be. As someone who appreciates organization, I was incredibly impressed with how prepared and detail-oriented they were. We felt like they were invested in our day and felt confident that they were going to execute our vision. We cannot rave enough about how their customer service alone is reason enough to book with them. Flora set a very high bar, and my spouse and I regularly joke we will forever measure other people's customer service against Flora's. Flora staff are clearly experienced in the realm of wedding and event planning, and offered us so much helpful and honest advice from their favorite caterer down to the smallest day of scheduling detail. Their bartenders were also very talented and drinks were delicious! Every single staff member we worked with from the owner to drink servers were friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited to be a part of our wedding. Not only did we have a great experience, but many of our guests made it a point it tell us how kind and efficient Flora staff were. Even though it was one of the pricier options we found for a similar sized venue, booking with Flora was worth every penny. Other venues may have been cheaper at a glance, but none of them compared to the wonderful staff at Flora and all the behind the scenes work they put into your event. We cannot recommend Flora enough!”
“Had a great time! I've gone Axe throwing more than a couple of times and really enjoyed this location. The quality of their axes was great, boards also seemed fresher compared to some places. Staff was great and fun aesthetics. Would come again!”
10AM - 6PM
2215 Pan American E Rd, San Diego“Such a beautiful & peaceful place to explore. Great place to get your steps in $14 for adult admission. $12 for students & seniors. Open daily from 10am to 7pm, last admission is 6pm. Once you pay for your admission, there's a couple show rooms with artifacts and history along the way. It's pretty interesting. There's a gift shop at the bottom of the hill. Gift shop is abit overpriced but fun to look at the pieces they sell. They have restrooms for use.”
“Service / Server: Very nice and checked on us a lot to make sure we weren't low on drinks.
Musicians: Great talent and they really get the crowd into it !!
Pay to Play: You can pay them to possibly play a song you request .... the more you give the better chance you have of them playing. By 8:00, don't bother !! There are sooo many requests there's no way they can get through all of them. If you want a chance of your song being played, it has to be your BDay, Bachelorette party, or get your request in early.
All in All, its a great time !!”
“The entire Point Team was a dream to work with. From the beginning, the team was responsive, friendly, and helpful. They spent tons of time helping me plan every single detail. I live in Los Angeles and had zero issues with long-distance planning. I also planned the wedding in a relatively short timeline, but the team made it easy.On the day, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. All of my guests were raving about the staff. I had a slight hiccup with another vendor, but The Point team sprung into action and made sure everything was figured out. The day of coordinator kept me on schedule and executed my wedding timeline to a tee.The venue is gorgeous and very San Diego. We loved the view during the ceremony on the lawn. My guests liked that they could walk a short distance to enjoy the reception. My guests also enjoyed the garden. Even though it was a chilly night, the fire pits and heaters made it warm enough for them to enjoy the games, talk, and hang out.”

It's not just a place to work; it's a community where ideas flourish and connections are made. Also, a huge shoutout to Candace, our incredible community manager. She goes above and beyond in every possible way, making us feel valued and supported. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a desk!”
“We had our wedding reception at the Ultimate Skybox and couldn't be happier with our decision to book them as our venue. The moment we walked in and saw the amazing views, we knew it was the one. Most of our guests were from out of town and were in complete awe of the space, location and spectacular views. The indoor/outdoor vibe with a fully open wall to the huge patio with fireplace and outdoor furniture blew everyone away and we were out there enjoying it all night. Amanda, Christa and our wedding coordinator Evelyn were absolutely awesome and so easy to work with. They answered all my questions and really made my day a breeze. It truly was a night we and our guest won't forget. THANK YOU!!”

Daniela & Tony were unbelievably attentive & guided us through the rest of the details. The entire event was flawless & my guests were very impressed! Most importantly my family & I didn’t have to worry about anything but enjoying the night!

200 W Harbor Dr #120, San Diego“I hosted a corporate event at this venue and have nothing but positive feedback to share!Leading up to the event, Cris and her colleagues were flexible, dependable, and caring. During the event, I was extremely impressed by the entire staff helping set up the space. Everyone was kind, patient, and seemed to truly care about what they were doing and our experience - from re-arranging the tables to setting up the A/V and lighting, everyone did an exceptional job and ensured I was a happy customer. 2770 Historic Decatur Rd #101, San Diego“Really fun girl's night painting. We arrived an hour before they closed and managed to get our pieces done with 3 minutes to spare! Staff is helpful and directions are clear and easy to follow. Prices are marked on each piece and you pick up your finished product a week later, after it's been fired. Great for all ages and genders.”
“I got married last month at the cottage and we had a great experience. We were mostly in contact with Patty for planning and coordinating the wedding and rehearsal. We had about 80 guests and it was perfect for the location. Patty and Nancie were very communicative and accommodating. There are plenty of airbnbs to stay at nearby and plenty of beautiful views. Parking can be a bit difficult, so carpool or uber if possible but there are 7 spots right in front. Being able to set up first thing in the morning was super helpful. A week before the wedding we did a last walk through and noticed an arch was broken which we were planning to use. Patty and her husband got it fixed before the wedding, so thank you! The only thing that was unexpected was the city dumped a ton of sand in the month of NOV so that was in the background. And they stored all of their equipment behind a green tarp across from the venue. That made it difficult for wedding photos. Other than that, it was a beautiful wedding.”
Open 24 hours
2875 Dewey Rd, San Diego“Beautiful venue in a great location. Our friends got married here this weekend and it was the perfect spot! Things seemed to go well and we all had a great time.”

“My 8yo just finished up Spring Break Camp at APEX and I can’t say enough good things about her experience. I found APEX through Google searching and reading reviews. She’d never been to a camp before so she was very nervous showing up the first day. To say she fell in love with this place is an understatement. The coaches were all so helpful and welcoming. Everyday I picked her up she’d tell me about all of the fun she had and how she couldn’t wait to go back. 10/10 recommend the camps and look forward to trying some of the classes and open gym options!”
“Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambience was a pleasant surprise. Totally worth it!
Just a tip regarding the parking - please park at the location itself, the parking ticket fee is partially waived off. Carry the ticket with you, as they scan it in order to waive off the fee. You pay upto 11$.
Another issue is finding the theatre. It may get a bit complicated. It's in the Hyatt building itself on the 4th floor. There are boards everywhere once you get outta the parking lot. So yeah, go have fun?”
