Fantastic moving company! This is my third time moving with Vector & not a single thing was broken or damaged. They also managed to finish my packing & moving in one day, not two by adding a 4th guy for 5 hours. Nice movers, great rates, you won’t find better help!!!

Right from the start, Ruben and his team were incredibly professional and upfront with costs and moving logistics. The actual moving team was professional and worked very hard the entire time on both ends of the move. I really felt like I was in good hands the entire time and have no qualms about recommending them wholeheartedly!

We used Vector Moving to transport our household possessions from San Diego County in California to Sparks Nevada. While my spouse was diligent about packing as much as possible before the February 28th date of our move, I was much less responsible. The upshot was that on the day of the move, not only did the moving crew have to box many of the items which had not yet been packed, but they called in a packing specialist they knew to assist in the packing.
As we unpacked we realized that a number of items were missing. Some were items that my spouse had packed well before the move, others, we recalled had been packed on the day of the move. The items varied from barbecue grill accessories to pots, pans and kitchenware.
We contacted Vector and asked how we could initiate a claim to recover some of the expense, let alone the inconvenience involved in replacing missing items. The company responded promptly: Your move was a simple pick up of the items and straight delivery. Movers did not pack any boxes for you, all boxes were packed by you. You did not have any storage in transit also. Your items were loaded and delivered, only once loaded at your first location and unloaded at your second location. Both trucks were completely unloaded and nothing was left behind, and delivery was signed. Your items can only be at the pick up or drop off location nowhere else. We suggest you keep unpacking and we are sure you will find the items you are looking for, if they were picked up at origin..
While in a perfect universe and had my wife married e better-behaved husband, this description might have reflected reality and not hope, that was neither the reality, nor our experience.
While I shall undoubtedly contact both theCal PUC and the US DOT, we are still out something in the neighborhood of several thousand dollars, plus the time, aggregation and inconvenience. I would not recommend using Vector to transport any possessions you care about seeing again and we certainly wouldn’t dream of using them should we ever move again.
